Citysearch Editorial Review. This Italian restaurant/music venue is perfect for the local-music lover of all ages. Family-owned since 1952, Di Piazza’s is a Long Beach favorite. Folks can come in for the tasty Italian cuisine and stay for the live entertainment. Never empty, this is the perfect hangout on weekends. Sometimes there is a cover charge for bands and they can even sell out, so call ahead just in case. There's a full bar for those 21 and over and the restaurant also specializes in banquets, catering and private parties. As they say, "no event is too large or too small."

Best Place to see live music in Long Beach. You wouldn't know how cool this place is from the outside...its in a strip mall and isn't the kind of place that would catch your eye driving by but I love Dipiazza's and I would recommend it to any music lover. I like to get there early enough so I can enjoy dinner and drinks and have a laidback meal before starting to paryt......around 9ish is when the band goes on. I love the atmosphere - its very lounge- like but its cool b/c this place has been around forever and so many ffamous bands have played there which makes it even cooler. The bartenders are all super nice and quick - its just a really hip, cool place to get some good food, good beer, and watch some great music. I've been coming here for years and I recently brought friends with me from the South Bay for their first time and they also love it.
