An excellent environment to relax and refresh your mind and body .. The environment was very pleasant and the staff very attentive to my needs. the atmosphere is relaxing with clean and aroma scent. A great way to chill after shopping and lunch...pamper myself.
highly recommend. I disagree with you when you say the customer service was bad. The girls are very friendly and always willing to help with what you need. I had a massage with Shawn and it was fabulous!!! I know other people who get there hair done there with Evie and they just love her. I have always been very please with the atmosphere of being cared for and taken care of.
Exceptional Color and Cut Services. I disagree completely with the comment below, I had the best hair cut and color, ever in Los Angeles. The Colorist Martha cave me exceptional honey and beige highlights throughout my hair, she was very professional and gave me the best service possible. The Assistant gave me a wonderful shampoo, conditioning and scalp massage, as well as a HAND MASSAGE! She educated me on the aveda conditioners, and why my hair would benefit from it. Then it was off to Joey the Stylist, who re-shaped my hair, put in sum fun layers, and gave me a long sexy-bang. Joey made me laugh and explained how to achieve his same great blo- dry at home. " No Stylist has ever done this) When i walked to the front desk i felt like a million dollars and i spent less than $300.00. I was then given a FREE Shampoo to conserve my new color, as well as 10% off my next service, Which will be a Massage. I had a great experience at Amadeus! highly Recommended
terrible customer service. I DID NOT "escape to tranquility" like their slogan says, in fact, quite the opposite. I went for services totally around $340 and ended up being charged $3300! Immediately, I called the spa and inform the receptionist of the situation. She informed me that the manager was not in but will pass on the message. The next day, I called again and another receptionist answered the phone. she had no idea what I was talking about and manager was still not available; but she promises to pass on the message. On day 3, I call the spa again, this time a guy answers who (surprise!!!) still has no idea what I'm talking about, and the manager was still not available!! He swears to pass on the message and get the manager to call me back. Day 4 - I call again and am told by same guy that he cannot reach anyone and most likely the manager's cell phone is broken. Just as I'm about to have an aneurysm, Audrey from the corporate office picks up the phone agrees to start an investigation. A few days later, I get an email from Audrey who tells me that I am owed X amount and to go back to the spa to get the amt charged back to my credit card, she says that Daisy the manager knows about the situation and that she will take care of it. I get there and Daisy has no idea how much should be charged back to me. I get some money charged back to me but not all while the spa and the corporate office clear up the confusion. Right now I'm still waiting for somebody to call me back....*sigh* Alexis is wonderful and gives great facials...but nothing is worth this much stress!!!
Great Massage. My friends took me here for my birthday and we had a great time. The spa was beautiful and the massage was awesome. Highly recommend Amadeus.
Not up to PAR!!. spa addicts package for massage/facial/manicur. only $190 what a great deal I thought. Genesis gave me the massage and Alexis gave me a facial and they were both excellent. but after that it sucked big time. I got dressed and waited which seem like forever which was like 20min. they totally forgot about me and I had to go find them. they were sorry, offered the 20% discount off. and that sounded great and I was ready to pay they wanted $190 ?? huh? I thought it was $190. ok, I paid $190 + tip. and offer to reschedule the manicure for another day. which was today. boy the Polina(manicure)was in hurry to leave worst manicure ever and she ruined my nail. I had to fix it when I got home and at end of it all they try to charge me again. I will never go back to Amadeus!
The Grove branch of this popular chain provides skilled basic treatments for those wanting a little pampering while they shop..
After checking in at the ground floor hostess stand, patrons head upstairs for services. Ample windows, an atrium and high ceilings keep the environs bathed in natural golden light. An ambience that could be sterile--white walls, minimal decor, an occasional orchid or seashell--instead comes off as serene, uncomplicated, coastal. Each locker room contains a good-sized steam room, but that's the spa's only sex-segregated facility. There are no saunas or whirlpools--this isn't a day spa where you have a massage, then hang out and relax for a few hours.
Standout treatments include oxygen facials, an exfoliating pumpkin-peel pedicure, foot reflexology sessions (30- and 60-minute sessions) and a group of iodine-rich, detoxifying St. Malo seaweed body treatments. Four Spa Duo packages are combinations of the most popular services--the Vineyard spa duo will satisfy most, combining a European facial and one-hour massage.
Steam room. Massage, body treatments, wet treatments, facials, hair removal, sunless tanning, manicure/pedicure, full-service salon, makeup application.
