  1. The oatmeal was so dry, you could hang pictures with it, they made a chicken salad sandwich when we ordered a ham sandwich & they offered us a crumb cake instead of the muffins we ordered because the muffins were stale!

If you don't want to wait at the Grove...

by newjerseydiva

I went to Corner Bakery because at the Grove you'll wait a long time if you want to eat (unless you go into the Farmer's Market). The place was packed so you may have to scope out a table as you wait to order or bring a friend along to grab one for you; all of them were filthy, by the way. Seating is inside and out. Corner Bakery is located in the same building as Magianno's (yuck!)and was rather loud since they had music. By the way, I didn't see a restroom anywhere so I'm assuming they would've sent you to Magianno's. My food came quickly and well, tasted like it was prepared with the same speed. The mixed green salad was lettuce thrown on a plate with a squirt of dressing; the piece of bread could've broken my teeth; the pasta was overcooked and gloppy.

  • Pros: Fast service
  • Cons: Lack of seating, Unclean tables, Poor food

Do not visit this location!

by durc72

My company picks up breakfast for our department meeting twice a month from this location & each time we have been extremely disappointed. They always forget something &/or the food is not prepared correctly. Most recently we were told our order would be ready in 20 mins. but it ended up taking an hour and 15 minutes, delaying our meeting. The oatmeal was so dry, you could hang pictures with it, they made a chicken salad sandwich when we ordered a ham sandwich & they offered us a crumb cake instead of the muffins we ordered because the muffins were stale! It was 9:30am, what kind of "bakery" has stale muffins that early in the day? Needless to say, they won't be keeping our business

  • Pros: reasonable prices
  • Cons: Slow service, Incompetant staff, inaccurate w/ orders
