The Scene – Dozens of umbrella-shaded tables wrap around this large corner cafe. Diners bring their dogs, don designer shades and exchange industry gossip over cappuccinos. Inside, bronze-painted walls and high ceilings frame a glass display case lined with such artfully decorated goodies as pastel-frosted cupcakes, strawberry shortcakes and hulking sweet rolls. – – The Food – Coffee jockeys are busy steaming up lattes, but the huge menu is the main draw. For breakfast, try the Oscar with scrambled eggs, sliced chicken, sharp cheddar and salsa piled over corn…
Don't let the host make you leave

Beyond the rude front service the food is great but the manager does not care how the host gave us rude treatment and said that if you do not like the way the host speak to you go some where else.
A Nice Trendy Westside Eatery! I Will Be Back!
by Drey39 at Citysearch
The location is Great! The food was decent. The service was mediocore at best. After we were seated, the server assistant immediately asked if we wanted to order beverages. That's where the good service pretty much ended. After about 10 minutes, unable to secure even a modicum of attention from the staff, I finally broke down and asked a ramdom employee where my server was. He was in fact our server. He was extremely dismissive and said he'd be with us shortly. Evidently, he was an aspiting actor, in character to play a snobby waiter at a trendy westside restaurant. He should have no problem landing the part! Eventually, he took our orders and our dishes arrived shortly. The soft scrambled eggs I ordered were hard, so I politely asked my server if he could possibly request another order of soft scrambled eggs to which he replied, he would try. Try? Wow, what chance did I have? The second order was also hard scrambled. I was perplexed as to how the chef was unable to master the complexity of soft scrambled eggs aftter two tries. Hint: try serving them before they starts to brown. All of the other food was really good. Actually, that was a masterful use of understatement and unfair, the waffle with strawberries and bananas was the BEST I've ever had! Overall, it was a nice pleasant experience for both myself and my date; I don't go there for the service anyways!
- Pros: Good Food and Great Location!
- Cons: Questionable Service and Challenging Parking
Yummy yummy yum...im talking about the staff
by happydog2009 at Citysearch
A friend's brother brought me here for brunch one lazy Sunday and I proceeded to come back for the next four days, bringing a different friend each time. I am completely hooked on their salads, steak sandwich, granola & fruit ....but then again, I haven't tried a single thing on the menu that wasn't orgasmically delicious. Speaking of orgasmic...their staff is hands down one of the best-looking groups in LA and so friendly. And the vibe of the place is to die for. At night it's even candlelit! Come here and bring a friend...you may have to wait a little bit, but it's worth it!
one last thing...i love the cupcakes...so fresh so yummy
- Pros: food...staff...people watching
- Cons: parking
