Good food. If you're craving for authentic Indian food, this is the place! Tandoori Chicken was tasty, their lamb was delicious, and the garlic naan was flavorful. The servers were attentive and friendly and the atmosphere was spacious and romantic. Parking is hard to find so splurge on their cheap valet service.

Fresh, authentic, delicious Indian and you don't have to drive to Artesia. I make my own Indian food and have for years - rarely go out for it, even though it takes hours to prepare anything remotely authentic, because it takes amazing food for me to prefer restaurant fare. This little restaurant in Studio City is fantastic. I eat meat but only ordered vegetarian because of the friends I was with, and I really enjoyed both the regional specialty I ordered (chick peas) and the aloo palak. We ordered the spinach & garlic naan, thanks to another Citysearch reviewer and it was THE BEST naan I have ever tasted. The spinach is fresh and it is loaded with garlic, the dough was piping hot and just crisp enough. Amazing. I will be craving that naan often. Not sure about the reviewer who said this Indian was bland - I would say it's light and fresh but definitely not bland. A real gem.

Not good!. The only thing more bland than the food was the service. Although the decor is nice, the food is pretty tasteless and the service unhelpful (in fact, it's hard to get the waiters to talk, and for some reason, some seemed to have an attitude). Try another place for Indian food--I've been to dozens of Indian restaurants on multiple continents, but this one is definitely off my list.

Tasty Food, Great Service. We've been to Indian restaurants all over the world, and this ranks with the best of them. With a few exceptions (the crabcakes), the menu is very authentic, especially for a Valley Indian restaurant. Definitely try the Spinach Naan and the Chicken Tikka Masala, as well as the complimentary Papaardam. The Chicken Tikka is decent, but a little dry and not marinated enough--it comes with a mint sauce that could use improvement. All in all, the experience was delightful--the servers were very attentive and friendly even though we were the only diners in the restaurant. And our credit card was pleased to find a very reasonable bill. Will definitely return for the delicious and lighter preparation of our Indian favorites!

They also have a surprisingly far delivery range for an LA restaurant, in case you don't want to hike over to the Valley and hunt for parking (valet is also available, as always).

Order the Spinach Naan, you will not be disappointed!

Excellent and delicious!. My husband and I went in for lunch and the value was great! Even the flatbread and salsa to start you off was delicious. The manager took the time to give recommendations since we are not familiar with Indian food, and even brought us a sample of a dish to see if we liked it. THe food was excellent! We are very lucky to have a neighborhood Indian restaurant so close to home and so yummy. The ambience is lovely and the waiter made sure our glass of water was filled. A hidden jewel!

Changed my mind about Indian food.... I've never been a fan of Indian food before, and didn't want to give this place a chance for the longest time - BIG MISTAKE!

This is now one of my favorite restaurants -

The food is simply exquisite!

Two of my favorite dishes:

- the Malai Kofta (pay no attention to the fact that it's vegetarian fare - even my 100% carnivore husband adores it)

- the carrot pudding desert... I know it sounds strange, but who knew that carrots could produce such a delectable, sweet, scrumptious and savory dish? I would never have guessed that this healthy veggie is the main ingredient. To die for, especially when they heat it up and serve it with the creamy vanilla sauce!

Light food,Romantic.Perfect for a date.. Wonderfully romantic. Beautiful artwork.

Wonderful new dishes to try, which you won't find on other Indian Restaurant Menus. Share and try all of the exotic dishes!

Bhel Puri,an Indian railway snack, was delicious.

Fish Tikka, which was salmon on that night, was light, juicy and delicious!

Lamb vindaloo was braised to perfection. Perfect sauce and the lamb was so tender. Make sure to order a rice dish so you can make use of the delicious sauce in the lamb vindaloo. We finished the lamb and took the sauce home- too wonderful to leave behind!

Small, but smart & carefully chosen wine list compliments the food. The food was not served fast. But all of it tasted freshly prepared, flavorful and well worth the wait. And it was such a nice setting, that the wait didn't seem to matter.

Hard to beleive that they specialize in a lighter style of cooking.

My new, favorite restaurant.

Some of the BEST Indian Food in the Valley. I didn't like Indian Food until I begrudgingly came here for lunch one day with co-workers. OMG. The Chicken Tikka Masala is the best I've ever had. It was enough to change my mind about such food. From the Samosas to the Tandoori salad, this place is fantastic. the only issue is the only "parking" is a valet, and on Ventura it can get a little hectic. But the atmosphere is calm, the food is great and the service, while not the fastest, is very friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
