Horrible place for a car wash.

I would like to share one of my experience at “Monterey Park Car Wash”.

I went in for a normal car wash, paid and waited for my car to be finish. As soon as my car finished, I tip the guy and proceed in my car to find a BIG CRACKk down my windshield. I spoke to the Manager and cashier, which were non compliant & not corporative at all. Blaming the crackk on me, saying it wasn’t their fault and that it was mines. Accusing me of lying. Being very rude and saying ignorant stuff to me like “Does it look like we used a hammer and hitt your windshield or something”. It was difficult to talk to them so I had no choice but to get a police escort to help me deal with the situation. After the whole ordeal, I got the Co-owner information and spoke to her. She was very cooperative on the phone, but said she’ll get back to me after she investigated the situation. After all that, I meet up with the co-owner at the car wash. They were not being corporative towards me at all. Putting the blame on me (saying that there was a so-call pervious crackk there before). And also saying that it was Hot, therefore putting cold water on it might cause the crackk. I did not feel like it was my fault because there was no crackk there to begin with, and when I received my car there was a BIG CRACKk!. I got a quote from my body shop and they said it look like someone lean on top of it causing a crackk. And I’ve seen with my own eyes, that the workers do lean over the top when they wipe it down going through the car wash. They refused to pay for the damages that they’ve caused and told me to suee them for it. I’ve never knew that going to a car wash would be such a PAIN IN THE A*S.

I would never ever go there again and would recommend others not to as well.

By the way, I drive a Lexus GS430 and it cost me about $500 to repair my windshield.

Will NOT put up with them anymore

I've been to this car wash place few times, not because they are good but because they are close to where I live. Their service haven't been great; they are slow, and the job they've done is just okay, not impressive. But after today's experience I see no point of putting up with them anymore.

I went in today to get a hand wax car wash, which costs $39.99, I guess that includes cleaning the floor mat too. When I picked up my car, I found out there was a huge hole on the floor mat at passenger side, it was ripped opened. I drive my car everyday and if there is such a hole there, I'm pretty sure I would have noticed. I asked the guy who was cleaning my car what happened, he told me it might have been damaged when they use the machine to clean the floor mat. So I went in and inform the owner. She came outside, looked at the hole and told me this hole looked like an old damage, I told her it wasn't there when I drove in. I also said if they didn't damage it, then that must be someone else's floor mat, not mine. She kept saying there's no way this is a new damage, and every model comes with different shapes and sizes of floor mat, no way they will mistakenly put someone else's into my car.

I knew at that point she is neither going to admit their mistake, nor do anything about it. So I told her I will not come back to this place again, and I left.

My point to this event was not only she sounded like she was accusing me lying, she seemed okay that I said I will not come back to this place again. I actually don't expect her to do anything about it, hey, sh*t happens, nothing she can do. All I want is for her to admit the mistake and apologize to it, but I got a totally opposite attitude. I will NOT go to this place again, nor would I recommend this place to anyone.

I won't go there again.

My car had serious water stain so I decided to go there and had detailing. We paid $100 for that.

The guy spent few hrs on my car but he didn't do it carefully~ he made my water stain area looked SANDED and he asked for more tips (but my truck still looked dusty). So we paid him $5 for tips... (since he spent so much time on it)

But after we left, we found out he took my quarters in the car~

I won't go there again.
