Excellent ambiance, service and staff, perfectly prepared cuisine, cool televisions

I recommend making a reservation on any weeknight; for dinner. It gets booked even on Thursday.The cocktails were very strong,. I like strong drinks but a well trained bartender should know the recipe for a fine tasting drink without the shock effect. But- luckily they were strong because of the long wait. I did mention it and they were more than glad to fix that. It took almost 2 hours for our meal to arrive. Luckily I was with good company and good conversation, but unfortunately for some, only hunger was on their minds and they had complaints left and right regarding service, and promptness. They were gladly given a discount and complimentary dessert.

I donot understand poeple who complained about the food on this review page, because it is easy to send it back to the chef and the server and maitre'd will be more than happy to ammend ANYTHING for you- including your drinks, so don't be shy, and send it back and they will accomodate in a very warm and welcoming manner.The food was lovely, well cooked, perfectly rare to medium the way I asked. I recommend the filet, the spinach, and crabcakes. Most of all, try the sweet fried potatoes.The fire pit is great for after dinner drinks and a great place to relax and talk over a few drinks.Very good crowd, not rowdy (well with exeption of a a few friendly women and businessmen that have had too much martinis, which is okay, NOTannoying 20+)Mostly White, Asian businessmen. White, Black and Asian couples or groups from out of town. For 3 people, it cost only $200 and that was including 2 drinksand meat with a side per person. Much cheaper than Mortons or Ruths Chris.The staff is friendly andprofessional.They have booths in th back with TV and the restrooms and bar area too.There is a live jazz band in the outdoor dining area, and jazz music playing in the fire pitt area.

Perfect Summer Evening

I loved it here! The bar is classy and the service is very friendly. We sat outside by the huge beautiful fire pit, it was gorgeous! Since the resort is up on a hill you get a cool summer breeze and makes it perfect to sit outside. This is a great place to go with your friends to have a glass of wine or an even better place for date. I will definitely come again, thank you citysearch!

• Pros: Loved the fire pit and the environment was very classy
• Cons: We couldn't stay longer, they closed at 11pm
