My Favorite Saturday Night Place!!!. I have there many times on Saturday!!! The music is the best on Saturday if you are into house/Euro music!!! One of best DJ's!!! It gets a little bit too crowded!!! But nice people and good ambiance!!! The service is fine and friendly! You can make reservation for dinner for large group and the restaurant turns to a bar/club later on!!!! As you can tell by now i like this place and the DJ rocks!!!

Food is good to, especially for the price you pay!

Singles come more to mingle than nosh in this Moroccan-inspired courtyard on Main Street.. The Scene
This bustling little hot spot has a main dining room with sexy red walls, dim lighting and twinkling lights, but the real action is on the canopied patio. Tables might be crammed together and deafening techno music playing overhead, but young, beautiful Westsiders line up for the popular, live DJ nights.

The Food
Like most trendy spots with an eclectic menu, the kitchen has a hard time perfecting any one dish. Eggrolls filled with a mixture of seafood are greasy and accompanied by a too-sweet dipping sauce. Although hand-thrown, pizzas have the bland flavor synonymous with frozen pies, but the basic Margarita is still indulgent. Chicken adobo is slathered in a soy-heavy brown sauce and served with slippery overcooked veggies and steamed rice. A grilled pork chop with applesauce is a fine hunk of meat but shamefully overcooked, nestled on a mound of mushy, sweet potato puree.

Very cool restaurant & bar !. I've been going to Shane since it opened and really love their martini menu, as well as the crispy chicken and special fish dishes. The music is always unbelievable, and the staff are all friendly. Weekends are a great time to meet cool people from all over the west side. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends.

Food okay, better as a bar. I've been here for dinner and the food was passable. Nothing spectacular. The bar scene afterwards is definitely what this place is about. Good looking and diverse crowd - there's a dance and DJ area outside that gets a little too crowded.

Saturday night Rocks. I have been going to Shane since it opened and have had many great nights there. The people are cool and friendly. Drinks are reasonable. Some very attractive west-siders go there. The best nights are Thursday and Saturday (when the best DJs play). The best DJ in LA is there on Saturday night -- this guys rocks the small dance floor to some funky, soulful, latin house . . . . all while playing hand-drums between mixes. It's sick! You gotta see it to believe it. There is a great pizza spot next door for a late night slice.

Shane's is now my local bar/restaurant!. I first went to Shane last year after someone recommended the nightlife there to me. Then I had dinner there one night (the duck is tremendous, very yummy) and have been going back ever since. I've never had a problem there (yes, I am a girl, I know) and I love the food, though it is pricey. Be nice to the bartenders and they will be nice to you too. The place gets really full, so there's a line on weekend nights and it's crowded inside, but worth it in my opinion - love the good-looking, late-20s/early-30s crowd. It's got a great, hip atmosphere but not Hollywood at all. The DJs there are pretty good, there's a small room if you want to dance, and they have a cool covered patio in the back. You can find me there all the time!

The restaurant is a rip-off. Just ate there on Sunday and I am NOT pleased. The food was awful! Horrible sauce on the salmon and the veggies looked liked they just had been defrosted.

The waiter had the nerves to say that "here the tip is 18%"! Since when is there an official tip percentage?

As far as the "beautiful Westsiders", it was more like a bunch of overweight singles with their thongs showing downing drinks at the bar. Gross. This place attempts class but is way off the mark.

Shane's is awful. After this place accidently gave me the wrong card at the end of the night, I had to go back the next day to pick up mine. Even though it was their mixup, the manager seemed to blame me, made me wait an hour to get my card back, and yelled as I left the restaurant that at Shane's, "the customer is not always right." Based on the abysmal service and the gross food I would never return and would urge all my friends to skip it too

The Best. For a local westside hangout that is consitently fun with great music and fun people, Shane's is the best. The staff is cool, the music is great and the food is such a great value. Every night of the week.

Only good for the bar scene.. The first reviewer here sounds very fake...the food at Shane is not happening at all. DO NOT go here for food...it gets hopping at night, and is a good time for drinks and a few great Martinis, but the food is bland, tasteless and not worthy of the price at all. Anyone who tells you otherwise either has no taste in fine food, or works there!
