MSG free - Excellent Food. This is the best MSG free chinese food restaurant I have ever eaten. We eat here often. We celebrate Thanksgiving and Christmas here each year. The Peking Duck and Peking Pork are two of our favorites. Lake Spring has many famous dishes; which we also order. They also have what I call Chinese pancakes that are delicious. I am caucasian and my husband is Chinese; so this restaurant suits us both very well. I am allergic to MSG and most Chinese restaurants use MSG. We drive over an hour to come here to eat. It is worth the drive. It is required that you call one day ahead to order the Peking Duck. Enjoy!!

high quality Shanghai food. Lake Spring is a very good Shanghai restaurant. Their famous dishes, like deep fried fish, steam pork dumplings, pig's feet and pork knuckle are all very tasty.

Actually, I like to eat their famous items more than those lunch special because some items are much better than the others and it is hard to pick the right one, depending on people's taste. I have ordered some dishes that are very tasty from the lunch menu, but some are not. Thus, I recommend people try their famous items first.

Famous for tender, plummy "pork pump," this popular and spacious restaurant offers an elegant, upscale atmosphere and a huge menu.. In Short
Two elegant rooms decorated in green and pink feature proper tablecloths, watercolor landscapes and fresh roses on the tables. The vibe is sophisticated and mature. Everyone comes for "pork pump," the eternally misspelled rump cut specialty marinated in plum sauce until it's like the sweet memory of a barbecue. Other specials include crab with spicy salt, Beijing duck, braised shark fin, sea cucumber with shrimp eggs, wine marinated chicken and braised tofu with pork.

Excellent Shanghi Cusine. One of the best reasons to go to Lakespring is the Pork Pump, amazing Pork rump tender and delicate. House Special Shrimp, Orange Sesame Chicken, Spicy Pork Green Beens, Garlic Scallops, enjoy!
