chicken salad, crowded loud, excellent desert, food quality, garden burger salad, good service, hearty meal
Hedley's Always Makes Me Happy. I often go here for lunch at work, and I have never been disappointed. Especially try their specials; the kitchen has a subtle way with seasonings and spices that turn everything into an experience. For a light lunch I love their chicken salad, which has the best honey-mustard dressing I've encountered. The desserts are sorely tempting. Occasionally during a busy hour they can get a bit harried, but relax and enjoy the hip Euro-jazz-lounge music playing, and watch the people go by.
good prices, good food. Tried this place for brunch and was absolutely pleased. The prices were just right, and so were the portions. The iced tea is definitely some of the best out on the west coast, and that says a lot since I am from the south.
i really like this place.
Hedley's is a hidden gem in LA--great food, without spending a lot. It's very casual, perfect for a date (out on the patio), or breakfast.
the food tastes wonderful and is presented as if you are at an expensive restaurant...
proof you don't have to spend a lot to get a great meal!!! the warm, chocolate bread pudding alamode is to die for!!! honestly, one of the best desserts i've ever had..try the turkey burger and the specials too... great place! and the staff there is nice too.
Best Kept Secret in West Hollywood!. I love this restaurant! I go there regularly on Sundays with friends and the food has always been amazing! The chicken salad, although sounds simple, is grilled to perfection! The omelettes are delicious and never over or undercooked and the ice tea is so refreshing on a hot summer day. This is the perfect place to dine with friends and enjoy the afternoon or evening.
Sunny neighborhood bistro serves up eclectic home cooking in trendy West Hollywood..
The Scene
Nestled between the exquisite design boutiques of Robertson Boulevard, this small restaurant is the perfect luncheon retreat for interior designers, fashionistas and the local dog-walking WeHo crowd. A bright canopied patio frames the front, and the sleek interior with orange accents gives the small angular dining room an airy and minimalist feel.
The Food
Daily specials of modern comfort food are often better bets than regular menu items, like ham and béchamel crepes crowned by charred juicy asparagus. Some mainstays are crave-worthy, like a slice of juicy meatloaf on creamy mashed potatoes, and chicken potpie with rich, red wine reduction sauce. The hamburgers are gigantic and moist, paired with spicy grilled yams--a welcome respite from typical french fries. Some items falter, like salty fried calamari salad, or the soft and mushy tofu barbecue sandwich. Wines are approachable and modestly priced.
This place rocks!. Simply unbelievable food for the price! Comparable to places charging double or tripple the price.
A great little WeHo spot!. Hedley's has quickly become one of my favorite places to eat in West Hollywood. The wait staff is friendly, attentive and quick. The food is creative and delicious. The chocolate bread pudding is INCREDIBLE! And . . . the prices will not put a dent in your wallet. I have been very disappointed with the quality of the restaurants in WeHo, so I am very psyched to have Hedley's in the mix now - for dinner and brunch on the weekends. Don't miss this small restaurant tucked away on Robertson between Santa Monica and Melrose.
Great place. Feels like a tiny trendy eatery in the soho district of London where fashionistas and drama darlings grab a bite to eat before heading to the theater or a club. Great food, good atmosphere, small and with an atmosphere of minimalist cool.
