The place to in LA for Pastrami & Chili fries. This by far has the best pastrami in the city PERIOD! There is no more that needs to be said to describe it. The chili cheese fries are to die for! I think they bring down the chili from heaven itself. The service is great and have been doing so for 45 years. The burgers are great as well. Everything they put on the burger is fresh and crisp as its supposed to be. The milkshake are good just like anything on that menu. Its not the Ritz that's for sure but it is just a great place to eat. Make sure to come hungry the size and portions a pretty big, they don't cheap out on anything! I just love this place and would recommend it to anyone! Bring a friend!

~My milkshake brings all the boyz to the yard~~. Capitol Burgers is the place to go for great fries and burgers!! OMG Now my sons are hooked! I have to make a run today after work!!! And the same ol benches are there that have all our names etched into them when you used to "kick it". Just like the others have wrote, don't let the guys that hang around fool you. they are totally harmless. Johnny's dad has them under control. You respect them, the will give you respect in return!!!! (HEY, THEY MADE IT THROUGH THE RIOTS! THAT SHOULD TELL YA SOMETHING!) And Johnny's dad has certainly found the fountain of you cuz that man has not change since i was a little girl!!!! I think they still RC cola out of the fountain and oh man.. REAL i mean REAL. milkshakes!!! You just have to deal with the outcome later! all that real icecream and milk.. omg.. heaven!!!

Always a good place for pastrami's. What's up !!!! Johnny and his Dad have been at this location since time began. My wife and her family have been going there since she was a little girl, and they still do. Johnny....the pastrami's are to die for, and the burger's ARE da BEST !!! Try da chili fries....Johnny gives u a ton of 'em !!! What more can I say,

except to go out and try it. You will be back for more, it's that good !!! The place is an icon and Johnny and

his Dad do a fantastic job !!! I do admit, the outside is a bit scary looking, but the food and the people are

Great chili fries and pastrami. I grew up on Capitol Burger. My dad's office was down the street and CB was always a big treat when I was a kid. Nothing--not one thing--has changed since way back when. They even have the same shoddy old picnic tables outside for on-premises dining. The place looks horrible, but don't be fooled. It's even better than Tommy's and doesn't come with the heartburn.

Top-Notch Hamburger. I paid a visit to this place as I was craving hamburger. Ordered one for about $2. I loved it. The leafy lettuce and chopped onions add to the overall high-quality of Capitol's burger.

Highly recommended.

Kind of looks ghetto upon first glance. But don't let that deter you from grabbing a bite.

The best in town!!!!!!seriously. I love this place. They have the best french fries in the world. They aren't shy about giving you fries. Trust me!!!!! The hamburgers are good.

You can feed 2 with about $15.

The service is excellent and quick.

I don't know what else to say, but you just gotta go to this place.
