The staff here is so warm and friendly.
I have been coming here for a few years but never more than once a month or so, sometimes not for several months. I wouldn't call myself a regular. That being said, the food is excellent, especially the paneer kashmiri. Our favorite waiter still remembers our 'regular' order, always brings my daughter a mango lassi and entertains her. He is so nice we always feel bad we don't go visit him more often.
The biryanis have very good spice and the tandoori chicken might be the best I have ever had anywhere. The restaurant has an unusual barbel shape around a stairwell to the apartments upstairs and it divides the restaurant into two small dining rooms. Really just a fantastic little spot.
not the greatest, or the worst.
They have a pretty good buffet brunch, but I wouldn't really recommend for a dinner night out.
The food is hit or miss at times.
Sometimes it’s fab, and sometimes...not so much.
Good food..
I don't agree with that guy that said this was the worst place. As a matter of fact, I had a great experience. Every Indian place I've been to has their own taste. Something tells me that if this guy needed to type out his order he was a pain in..
I had a great meal.
highly recommended
WORST INDIAN RESTAURANT EVER!!!. WORST INDIAN RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH!!!! Placed order through their online delivery system,I thought it was impossible to mess my order up since it was typed down and simple yet they still manged to. What Indian Restaurant serves you 2 currys and no rice? Instead of apologizing and attempting to remedy the situation, they were rude and antagonistic and ignored my phone calls and complaints. When I ask for them to come back to give me what I paid for he said it would take an additional 20- 30 minutes after I had already been waiting 45 min for my order in the first place. I had no interest in paying $40 and eating cold food so I asked for a refund and had to fight for it The delivery guy claims to have returned to my house but left after "I didn't come out" however he never rang my doorbell or even knocked on my door. I have 3 dogs that bark their heads off when anyone is nearby and they were silent.
Good Buffet!.
When it comes to Indian food I am pretty picky.
Three of us went to The happy hour buffet after a little shopping. I have to say, I was impressed with the variety offered for the money, the food selection was quite good. The d
Simply disgusting. The customer service isn't that bad, I give it a 3 1/2 out of 5, But their food was horrid. My plate was supposed to be spicy, and the chile's were raw to an extent. It might have been a bit undercooked and it was not nicely set up on the plate. It didn't have much texture to it, and it wasn't delicious one bit. The utensils looked dirty and I honestly even felt a bit disgusted just by looking at everything. Restaurant rating: 0.2 out of 10
Worst Indian food in a long time.
Stale food
Neglect people when they have parties
Buffet has no variety
Messed Up Spice Concept.
I went there a couple of weeks ago and was extremely disappointed. The service was bad. Then, when I placed the order, asked for "Spicy". Guess what we got?
Spicy Samosa = Samosa with red chilli powder sprinkled on it!!
Spicy Biriyani= Soggy Biriyani with the same chilli powder sprinkled..eek!
The curries were colored with this same chilli powder in abundance. You can taste the raw chilli powder.
I was praying I don't get sick from the food. Extremely Overpriced and Best Avoided!
Okay food, service is absent. We went late afternoon/early evening during the holidays and had an extremely difficult time getting served. They clearly wanted us to choose the buffet and we had to ask the host, a waiter and finally the bus boy to bring us a menu. Food was just okay. They forgot to bring the drinks we ordered, never did bring water. No one waited on us after bringing the food and we had to ask another 3 times to get a bill. I frankly think they didn't want to be bothered with customers that day, preferring that we just help ourselves to the buffet and be done with it. I would not recommend. No idea how they stay in business on Colorado Blvd. near the Pasadena Playhouse with that kind of service.
