Lunch time. Ichiban is a sushi restaurant for a group of people. The food is great as far as not just sushi but they also have chicken and others types of meat on there menu. And you never have to wait for seating.

A little known gem.. This has been my steady sushi joint for well over a year now. Before living in LA I was not fond of sushi, but the with the combination of my girlfriend's persistence and this restaurant I am now a sushi junkie. Nowhere yet have I found a place with as much of a balance of good sushi and decent prices as Ichiban. The sushi has always been very fresh and the rather low prices have let me enjoy piles of it. Service is prompt, ambience is hip and comfortable, the staff is friendly and the sushi is fantastic. It's definitely worth more in value than any of the more expensive and higher profile places I've tried. I would even argue that the quality of thier food surpasses many of it's higher priced or "upscale" competitors.

Really, good sushi. I'm not one to get really excited about sushi but I love coming here! The staff is super friendly and they have some of the best valued sushi (50% off menu). My favorites (which aren't half off unfortunately) are the white roll and the Foothill Tempura roll

Ichiban really is No. 1!. I have been eating there for about a year now. Love it! The food in this place has turned several of my friends from Sushi-haters to Sushi-lovers! I always bring sushi newbies into the restaurant and they leave raving about the food and the price (I usually start them off on the 50% sushi menu).

Great ambiance. Fabulous place to chill with friends or just people watch. Conveniently located next to Glendale Galleria for some shopping before dinner and a movie.
