5 Star hotel with a great pool. You have to try their afternoon tea with scones (plain and currant), pastries (cheesecake, fruit tart, cream puff, chocolate cake), and sandwiches (egg salad, chicken salad, salmon, veggie).

Gorgeous, elegant hotel in Beverly Hills - one of the best in all of LA. The bar here is equally impressive for its service and selection. If you love Scotch, you'll find an array of Macallan expressions, including the 12, 18, 21, 25 and 30. Large ice cubes are employed to avoid melting too quickly.

good...but not the best choice. Although my stay here was pleasant, because my friends & I had a blast together, I was a little disappointed with the hotel overall.

The service was nice, but I feel as though it wasn’t 5 star status.

The gym had a certain smell to it. The food from room service came cold. The cleaning people wouldn’t come til days end to clean our room.

Overall, I don’t think I’ll be back. ?

Underwhelming. Big dissapointment for a hotel with it's 5 star namesake in Asia. For what they charge for the rooms the level of services definitely is underwhelming and does not commiserate with anything close to what they offer in Asia especially Hong Kong...

ok. for the price, this place really didnt pass. my room was great, but other than that, the staff was rude, unwilling to help me for the most part. I did find one employee who was more than awesome, i just wish the other staff would learn a thing or two from him.

Great service. I stayed here for three nights and I found my suite very clean and the bathrooms were HUGE! The room service ice cream was delicious, while most of the other meals were not the greatest. Checking in was a breeze with good customer service. Overall a good experience, but stay at the Four Seasons first if it's not booked.

Good Massage Therapist.....poor service otherwise.. Again, this hotel is a huge disappointment, don't think the Spa is going to be any different. First, for whatever reason they have only one person at the front desk. It would be logical to have two at all times. So, you have to wait until this poor girl is handling every customer until it's your turn. Not her fault, clearly management. Second, the dressing area was ice cold. I'm going in for a massage and the last thing I want to do is take my clothes off in an icebox. Third, the locker area, as far as I could see, only had like 12 lockers, and they are in a small enclove the size of a regular size bathroom area. We had four girls trying to change, and they was hardly any room to move. The massage was good, but they were a bit late for my appointment, not shocking when it comes to regular Peninsula customer service. Last but not least, I had a situation occur where they first were not very accomadating booking the appointment in the first place. This place is the king of saying no to simple requests like putting a charge on the room, before checking out for a spa service. I understand that some people are irresponsible and would maybe cancel, or want something else on top of that. But!!!! If neither of those is the case, and you just want to go in, have the treatment that is already paid for, why can I not do that????? Mind boggling how this hotel works. They made it into this big deal, and made us get giftcards, and then we were told that we could get cash back. Because they basically forced us to get a gift card, instead of just billing the room, plus gratuity. Now, I have a 39 giftcard to an establishment that the most you can get with that is a box of tea. They never offered to even say I could use it another part of the hotel. The description says they have gold sandals to wear, uh...no they don't! They are blue flip flops that are easily bought at any local Old Navy. Not recommended.

The Beverly Hills branch of this famed hotel's spa offers world-class treatments in a refined setting.. In Short
Guests of this spa and full-service salon, located on the fifth floor next to the pool and roof garden, will feel indulged at this softly lit facility with gleaming white marble floors. Crisp iced tea, nail kits, face and body lotion, gold-trimmed slippers and other amenities are available in the locker rooms. Since there's no separate waiting room, clients pass the time with a complimentary steam or sauna before or after treatments.

Champagne Brunches and Caviar Creams. I indulged in the Belvedere's infamous champagne brunch. For $50 you get unlimited Perier Joulet champagne along with several courses of delcious brunch culminating with a Dessert Buffet Bar. The spa is small but beautifully redone. The products are fairly nice as well. And the pool area is very relaxing. The staff will help you into cabanas, recommend what delicious and nutritious tonics or fun alcoholic beverages you should drink, and will even give you a complimentary foot massage.

Best Hotel in America. It is appalling to find this great hotel not even listed on the editorial board for Citysearch/LA, or in the top ten of reader's choices. I've stayed in every hotel on that top ten list for LA (many of them fine hotels, to be sure), but none come close to the total package of the Peninsula.

Great rooms, stupendous service, along with the best hotel restaurant on the West Coast translates to an experience beyond compare. The fact that this hotel is the ONLY Five Diamond AAA/Five Star Mobil hotel in North America (nine years in a row!) says it all.

Yes, it is expensive, but when you add the above to the unique policy this hotel has of '24 hour checkin/checkout,' you have a value that no other hotel in North America can match!!
