GREAT!!!!. I love this bar. Service is great and ambiance is totally cool. Staff is very nice and friendly to the people comes.

Great Atmosphere & Karaoke. I needed a place to karaoke that was close to my house, so I Googled karoake in Pasadena. The bar is actually called The Boulevard & it's a col little place tucked away on Foothill...look for the blue light. I went on a Friday night & got there a little early--karaoke doesn't start til about 10pm. The bartender, Jeff, is real cool & friendly, as are the people who tend to be regulars at this bar. It is known as a gay bar, but karaoke brings in anyone & they are all happy to have you...they "like straight people too..." The karaoke book is HUGE and there are all kinds of songs and a really good selection. Clifford, the VERY LARGE dog that also hangs out there is like everyone else--mellow and cool to be around. If it gets too crowded he leaves the bar, so as not to make people too uncomfortable. There's great singers, not so great singers, and people like me-just karaoke singers, but everyone is supportive of everyone else. Dance if you want...it's cool. Or you can shoot pool in the back & just enjoy a few good drinks!!

best bar ever!!. this is an amazing bar. very freindly staff, always greet you with a smile and its not long before they call you by name and now your usual. this modern day cheers has a great group of patrons as well, you just always feel invited everytime you walk through that bright red front door. this is a gay bar however there are many straight patrons that are regulaurs as well. like i said it is such a freindly warm environment you'd sware everyone in there was a lifelong freind. they have kareoke nightly between 10 and 1030 and some amazingly talented regulaurs that will make you feel like your at a broadway show when they start singing. sunday nights are hosted by incredibly talented roxy, who i actually didnt realize was a drag queen until my second visit, she is amazing!!! drinks are very reasonable with cocktails starting at just 5 dollars and they are delicious the owner steve is always trying out something new, and sometimes gives samples to get opinions from patrons.. they have all the most populaur types of alcohol and for the smokers there is a beautiful patio at the back of the bar for you, complete with a heater for those cold pasadena nights. there is also a pool table in the middle room. i encourage everyone gay or strait to check out this bar you wont be disappointed it has been nestled in this spot for 26 years now. that says a lot about this place right there the people love it and i know you will too.
