not full price, bad experience, clean place, very clean tools, huge hurry, worst wax, great service
We love this place. I and my fiancé are coming to this salon for years. I also brought my family and friends here and they totally love it! Prices are acceptable and the people work here does a great job, very detail and professional. We love to come here to have our nails done! With Ladybee’s comments, I believe they will make you more satisfier the next time you visit.
Not so good. Ii just came to this town couple weeks ago, and i had a a bad experience with this salon. I called in for a appointment but the receptionist couldnt even understand me. i had a hard time to make her understand. The nail technician who helped me has a horrible attitude. Her nail is Tao or something like it. I asked her to do somethings certain way but she seemed to be in a bad mood, and mumbled. I asked for a manager but he wasn't there. The tools they used is very clean but the service is not even meet the standard.
Worth every penny!. I just moved here from Colorado about 2 to 3 months ago. I've been getting my nails done for years and when I moved here I freaked out because I had no place to go. My nails were a wreck and I'm the pickiest person in the world; a perfectionist. I was driving by one day decided to hold back my fear and give it a shot. The staff was amazing I was a walk-in and was instantly seated and taken care of with no wait at all. It was labor day and they were jam packed; I was shocked I got in. They used a different technique than I 've ever seen before and I got a little nervous but when I saw the ending result I wanted to cry because it was so AMAZING! My nails have NEVER looked this good. I t was if my hands were glowing! My pedicure was even nicer. They were so polite and treated me so kindly. Because one of their spa chairs was out they didn't Charge me full price; they were so honest. Prices are a bit steep but I believe you pay for what you get and I got the best nail set and pedicure in LA. Parking's not bad either.
Wonderful!. This salon is definite worth it! The place is clean, the design is very impressive! It makes me feel very relaxing while the manicurists are working on me! They are professional and very friendly too! Tools are sanitized and the materials are expensive and brand name! The best in town! It truly worth for what you expect or for what you pay for! I will recommend my friends to come here!
WORST WAX. THIS WAS THE WORST WAX I HAVE EVER HAD! Firstly they made me wait for over an hour even though I had made an appointment. Then the wax took 55 minutes of utter pain before I had enough and told her not to continue further. She waxxed over and over the same spot more than 10 times in some parts and still left hair in those areas. She dropped the strips on the floor and tried to continue to use them and she generally had no idea what she was doing. When I left I couldn't walk, and I cannot sit down. I had clumps of wax left in the hair that remained and my skin is grazed and red raw! It was horrific. I would not wish this on my worst enemy!
NOT STERILIZING TOOLS!!!!. BEWARE! I went to Planet Nails for a manicure and pedicure with a friend this morning. This is the thrid time I've been there and felt completely rushed. The pedicurist was throwing my feet around and was in a huge hurry to move on the next client. The manicurist, a guy named Tony, was the saem way. My mani and pedi were done before my friend had her feet scrubbed. It was insane. To make matters worse, as I was sitting waiting for my friend to finish up, I saw my manicurist, Tony, take the tools he had just used on my hands, wipe them off with a towel, put them in a sanitation pouch and without sanitizing them, walk them over to his next customer. He opened the sanitation pouch in front of her as if they were clean and proceeded to give her a pedicure with them. I was horrified. Who knows how many times that day he'd simply "wiped" off his tools. I hope I don't get some crazy infection. I'll NEVER GO BACK.
They make you feel like a regular.... I love the woman at the front. She always makes me feel like their regular guest even if I think it's a little pricey. They always are pretty thorough though so I guess that's what I'm paying for.
Was Good Service. I have been going for 3 years. I have enjoyed what they had to offer. I have noticed over the last year they have gotten to big for their britches. I think because of the great service in the beginning they are now super busy. So there isn't this take your time with the clients. They have turned into another nail place that rushes the customers out the door. The last time I was there I was told the prices for the regular pedicure has gone up because the girls don't want to do them. Only the spa. They don't want to carry the buckets of water around, takes up too much room, etc. The spa pedicure isn't the most cleanest. Atleast with the other the trash bags are thrown away after each person. I feel they should be greatful for a job, a great location in West Hollywood and the money they are making from the tips. I don't think I am a cheap tipper either. Paying $29 for a regular mani/pedi and tipping $10 is good. I guess they don't care about mainting customers. I have sent people their, but will not anymore. I know others feel the same way. Rush Rush Rush.
