I have been enjoying all the great recommendations from City Search’s reviews over the years. For good karma sakes, I decided that I have to write things that I love and share them.

So.. Maxine is my go-to person for my face. When I go get my facials, I look for 2 elements: relaxation and extraction.

Relaxation: Maxine massages your feet, shoulders, head, face, and hands after she puts masques on your face. She will not leave you lying there, wondering what is happening. She makes sure you are pampered and completely relaxed during the whole experience.

Extraction: well, most people know me THOUGHT I have good skin. Some would even comment that my skin is so perfect. Nope, I don’t. My secret is that I have a really GOOD facialist. I am the type of person that I break out REGULARLY. I would have a couple of Big pimples. They are so big that I would feel part of my face PARALYED. So over the years, I have tried to extract them myself. They always have bigger issues and longer lasting if I do that. I have also tried some other facialists until I met Maxine. It does not matter what stage of the pimples is, she can always get them resolved in one try. So my face can move and I don’t feel the pain from the big pimples any more. I experienced some facialists, who are not as skilled in extraction, making excuses of “ these couple of ones are not ready so they will come back”. I never had the problem after the facial with Maxine.

If you are looking for a facialist and want a great relaxation and extraction, you will love Maxine.

Great Stress Relieving Facial!. Love this place...Went there for a facial and it was soooo relaxing. My facial was done by Maxine and she was great...she really knows her stuff and didn't make me feel like she was rushing through to get to the next person. Well worth the money...can't wait to go back again.

Great Facial. I heard that there were new owners so I thought I would give the spa a try again. My facial was great! It is definitely more customer service oriented than it was before. Will definitely go back! I am so glad the other owners are gone and I will be spreading the word about the spa to my friends and family.

Best Facial by Maxine. I recieved a call to come back as they have new owners the terrible Fay and crew have gone!!

I came here for yrs its a great location, sooo happy to be back

I had my lashes tinted and a truly wonderful Facial

I hope the old clients come back too

Avoid this place if you are looking for good service. This place is horrible! They know nothing about customer service...I'm sure they will be one of the first spas to go down in this slowing economy. I walked in there for a relaxing day at the spa and walked out miserably anxious and frustrated. I suggest giving your money to some that pride themselves on customers first...shouldn't that be a spa? Burke Williams and Loew's are my fav!!
