Not authenic mexican food. Anyone who considers this a good "Mexican Restaurant" has never had authentic mexican food. DO NOT order their Garlic Shrimp! The shrimps are low quality and small the sauce is not a garlic sauce. They throw a bunch of sliced garlic on the shrimps and then charge $18.95!!!, for the lunch portion. I also didn't appreciate one of the workers sweeping up right by our table while we were still eating, gross! I don't usually like dust and dirt, and who knows what else flying around in the air while I'm trying to eat. DO NOT RECOMMEND! I would like to recommend an actual Mexican restaurant though, it's called LA CAPILLA address: 4997 La Palma Ave, La Palma, CA 90623, phone number is: (714) 821-6191. I highly recommend their seafood specialties, they have HUGE high quality shrimps and do not skimp! I usually get the seafood enchiladas, 1 shrimp and 1 crab, and yes it is real crab! Delicious, give them a try!

Very Expensive. My wife and I gave this restaurant a try. The place looks nice. It is not exactly elegant, but nice. There were other people there. Maybe a little more than half full. We ordered tacos and enchiladas with rice and beans. The food was pretty good. The service was good. The food was also good but somewhat expensive. The food was almost comparable too food that we have eaten at nicer restaurants. We might on occasion return to this place...might. It is just more expensive than we?d like to pay when we could go to better places for really good food at similar prices.

Best Mexican food in the area!. The line outside will tell you what you need to know. Unlike Ferraro's next door, which is often empty, Enriques does a booming business. The reason? Great food and service at reasonable prices. Fish tacos are awesome, carne asada and carnitas burritos are huge and delicious... OK, everything is delicious.

Superb Authentic Mexican Food. Excellent Mexican food, large portions, great service, good chips & salsa. This is one of our favorite spots. The only drawback is the long wait for a table. Sometimes it's better to just call and get take-out because there isn't much a waiting area. Try the pork shank or the pork chops. Excellent shredded beef tacos.

Great Mexican Food!. This is a terrific Mexican restaurant. Try the pork shank -- it is unbelievable and you will definitely be taking some home. It is cooked in a tomatillo sauce and it just falls off the bone. Some of my other favorites are the Steak Tampico. It is a marinated grilled rib eye served with a cheese enchilada and rice-- perfect together. The only complaint I have is the salsa is not spicy enough but if you ask they will bring you the diablo sauce and it is great.

Terrible Mexican food. I went to this restaurant based on the citysearch reviews and was sorely disappointed. The food is BAD! The chicken is dry and not seasoned. My boyfriend said the burrito was one of the worst he's ever had. Please dont waste your money here.

Hidden Gem in Long Beach. Don't be fooled by the small nondescript strip-mall location. This is the best Mexican food in Long Beach. The staff is very attentive. The atmosphere is humble but inviting. The food is excellent and tastes like "real" Mexican food. With burritos averaging about $7 and delicious free salsa and chips, you get more than your money's worth. This place gets really crowded, I suggest going during off-peak hours.
