LW Pizza opens 10/01/2009. I would like to respond to the review on LW Pizza dated July 15th 2008. There was another pizza shop in this location called the pizza oven that went out of business in September 2008 due to poor reviews like the one on this site. LW Pizza came in and took over the location with a brand new menu and the goal to serve the best pizza at the fairest price in Long Beach on October 1st 2008 so this review is about a business that no longer exists. We deliver till 3am on Thursday, Friday, and Saturdays. The poor review was not about LW but the Pizza Oven that is now gone. I have asked Citysearch to remove this from my profile but they refused because I bought the old businesses phone number. pizza with no flavor - save your money and buy a frozen pizza from the market.
The dough tasted like it had been previously frozen, the tomato sauce taste like it was out of the can with zero flavors, and the cheese was chewy and tasted cheap... I love pizza and have never bought a pizza that I could not eat - this was a first - an uneatable pizza... This was by far the worst pizza i have ever "tried" to eat...
P.S. stay away from the ranch dressing - it was full of oil - is ranch dressing supposed to be oily????
