With an updated sit-down dining area to complement the popular wine bar, this romantic little spot strikes the perfect balance between the old and new Farmers Market. Tables are covered in lovely Provencal prints, making it a quaint choice for a friendly date or a quick meal after a day of shopping. Charming servers will help select wines to pair with lunch and dinner.
The Food
A small but authentic French menu complements the selection of French wines. A tiny dish of briny olives begins every meal, and cheese plates are arranged by country. The tapas are fine for a graze or full meal. Beef bourguignon is a rustic classic with tender meat. Nicoise salad with olives, tomatoes, bitter greens and goat cheese with a tangy honey dressing is the perfect match of sweet and sour. The spot-on French onion soup with chewy, dripping Gruyere is a soul-warming delight.

I've been there 4 times and everytime was better than the previous visit. They have what I like to eat (les escargots) and drink, especially drinks, from beer (Fischer) to wine, du vin Francais, bien sur! I'd say it's the kind of French Bistro that le Promenade was missing all these years. (I've been visiting the Promenade since 2001). The staff no problem, cordial and always ready. If you want a fun, little place to go for french food then this it. You can get a cheese plate with cheeses you choose served with fruit and nuts and it was to die for. Both the cow and goat cheese our server recommended to us were AMAZING! I almost wish I had made my whole meal the cheese platter ha. Their pomme frits are a must order as well and they actually reheated the next with the extra food i had to take home!! great wine selection too

You would never expect to find a place like this tucked among all the quick-food booths at the Farmers Market. But this little secret makes it feel all the more special. Romantic, simple, elegant. A great place for a date. AND there's a gourmet food store located right next door in case you want to take a select bottle of wine to go.
