beautiful modern atmostphere, beautiful environment, great spa, wonderful staff, love water, fresh towels, full mini facial
Century Sports Club & Day Spa specializes in traditional Korean spa services with a modern twist in a newly designed Men's & Women's spa
facilities. Century offers a variety of skin and body care services, including our popular bodyscrubs, oil massages, body wraps and deep tissue massages.
Century offers unique spa facilities such as the hot mugwort tea bath, Korean mist sauna, and the heated clay and marble saunas. Couples massages are available, though it's probably best to call in advance to schedule, depending upon availability.
In July 2011, Century debuted its new Jim Jil Bang (unisex/communal) spa section where couples, friends, families, and small groups can meet together after enjoying their visit to the men's or women's spas, and features a communal nap area, four heated (85* - 185*) rooms (gold, salt, clay & stone), an ice room, restaurant and juice bar.
…

Open 24 hours, has a driving range and a gym. It's on the outskirts of Koreatown, but part of the better Korean spas in Los Angeles.
Century Sports Club & Day Spa is the BEST. Located in Koreatown, Century Spa is a one of a kind experience that many are not fortunate enough to experience. From the lovely food, to the unique rooms (gold room, ice room, salt room, etc.) Century Spa has it all. The staff is friendly, the crowd diverse, and the facilities clean. I would recommend Century Spa to any one who wishes to experience a true Korean spa atmosphere.
Best K-Spa in LA.
Century Sports Club is definitely the nicest of the Korean Spas I've been to in Los Angeles, and I've been to several. Years ago, it was mainly a Korean clientele, with a few gay men who'd discovered the joys of communing socially in a non-bathhouse social environment. Lately, it seems that there's a bit of gentrification, and (I assume) that many of the Korean clientele now go to another location, and more and more gay men come to this site. Since I quite enjoy the company of gay men and Korean men (and gay Korean men), this couldn't bother me any less.
The rumors of the cruisiness are to be taken with a grain of salt. I've definitely smiled at someone and had them commence flirting, and also I've definitely sat quietly with my eyes closed in a state of pure relaxation and have been very respectfully left alone. It's not the type of place where the men will be overly aggressive... so straight men... don't be scurred. It's really not about that. It's just a place to completely chill. You're more likely to have someone smile and ask your name than to have someone try to touch you inappropriately. There are places for that a few miles away, and they're not hard to find.
The main difference between this place and the other K-spas in the area is with the options. In the others, you generally have two pools and two rooms to choose from, and they're small. Here it's a much different story. There's a beautiful locker room with a large television... there's a wet area with steam, eucalyptus steam, dry sauna, cold sauna... and then three pools... hot, REALLY hot, and cold. There's an area for wet services (salt scrubs, skin treatments) that's curtained off and semi-communal (a few tables sharing a large room).
Down the hallway there's a clay and a marble room, both with wooden blocks for resting. Up the stairs there's a small sleeping/napping area with three small 'beds' and an overhead view of the wet area below, which makes it seem very open and non-claustrophobic.
I've had a few scrubs here, and they've always been very good. Add in free parking and a reasonable entry fee ($20) and you have a really nice way to relax for a few hours on a day when you really need it.
When I want an upscale boutique spa experience, I head to the Gendarmerie in West Hollywood... but when I want to chill out and rotate between the different tubs, the different steamrooms, and maybe nap for an hour or two... this is the place I come.
Welcoming Environment!. From the reception desk to the stylists, everyone there is professional and friendly. You won't find anyone with attitude here, just great, smart people who know what they're doing.
Cool spa. I loved it. I thought that I'd feel uncomfortable being naked, but that feeling went away the moment I removed my robe. They really didn't care. They just gave me a great massage, I forgot about being naked. The place was very clean too, which is a requirement for me when it comes to spas. The service was awesome too, they were very accommodating. This is a new experience for me and I feel great. It was relaxing and refreshing.
I love spa naked and nude.
As you know I love sea mountain Nude naked spa resort and day club you can see the site at www nudespa com
But when i cant get outside to skinny dip with my girlfriends i will go to century for the indoor scrub and indoor love of water-- go
Worst Spa in LA. The design is dreadful. You have to climb stairs to get to the jacuzzi. You have to pack a lunch to get to the small swimming pool where they will not let you swim without a bathin cap. Never mind if you are bald. Swimming caps cost $10 and of course they sell them. What a rip off! I wanted my money back! You can smell the scamming as soon as you enter the joint. The staff acts like a bunch of Korean gangsters.
Best Day Spa In Town. I have been going here since the Summer. I know Spas put people in a good mood and they are relax but everyone is so nice here and the staff is so sweet. So many amenities; The Marble Sauna is to die for. Reasonable day rates but I went with the Annual Pass and it was worth it for sure. Oh and I should mention the Gym, if you hate dealing with the crowds at the gym the Spa is the best as its not crowded and has everything to complete my work out. The Best. I ended up canceling my gym membership and only work out at the Spa.
Breath taking. Of course a little more descretion would have been welcome, but that didn't stop most of us from having complete enjoyment. A great place to spend a day off. Clean, variety of saunas and lots to look at! A place to see and be seen. Outdoor patio is a great place for a little fresh air in between all of the heated activities.
one word AMAZING AND CLEAN!!!.
My first experience at this great Spa was an amazing one! Not only were the staff and technicians wonderful, the environment and modern atmostphere was beautiful and right on point. I loved every minute of it and highly recommend to everyone!!
simply love this place! Especially everything that is connected with customer service
have visited this place for several times. If you ask why I do it again and again I would I am 100% satisfied with SPA here. In some other places SPA is great but personal does not understand your needs. Only here everything is really great. I advise everybody to visit this place
