Golden Ox Negative Rating. I went to to this Golden Ox because I was in the area and had a great experience at the one in Montebello. I ordered a Pastrami Sandwich. To start with, when I walked in, the floors were filthy. I proceeded and saw only one other customer. With second thoughts, I ordered anyway. The sandwich size was so small, as if it were "kid size". I took a few bites, but my mind was burning up inside. I took the sandwich to the cashier and showed her the size of it. She went shhhhh because the owner was cooking.... Huh? So I called out to the owner and showed him all the empty space on the bread. He said he has happy customers and that is how it is served. He made the remark, that if I wanted it larger I should have asked for more meat. He doesn't want to make the sandwich too big because he's too concerned about our health. Well who called him the Doctor of health when he has a dirty restaurant, no customers and selling pastrami. He wouldn't give me additional meat. So I looked this restaurant on the computer and saw so many negative ratings, and now I know why. It seems that there are few who gave positive ratings, but that's beyond me. I suggest no one go there based on the experience I had there.

best for your buck. the food here is very good. especially the bacon cheese burgers..the breakfast burrito's are the bomb(good), everything is priced just right..i highly recommend this place..oh it can get a little messy in the dining area.
