pleasant shopping, rude owner, horrible experience, great quality, rude employees, generally reasonable prices
Upscale Larchmont goes a little bohemian at this comprehensive, colorful boutique stocked with everything from duds for mom and baby to fancy candles and books..
In Short
Hancock Park's hippest moms know this shop is the spot for grabbing uber-flattering Seven jeans, romantic Rebecca Beeson tops and cult-favorite flats and platforms by Dolce Vita. Raj tunics, Havaiianas and well-placed Buddha statues take the shop in a different direction from both the traditional and trendy offerings on the rest of the Larchmont strip--Spirituali is definitely the cool, hippy aunt in the family. Fashionable tykes aren't left out--the usual suspects are all here: Robeez, mini Crocs, toddler-sized wellies, and tiny tees that will land any baby on the best-dressed list. There's also a wide selection of cozy pajamas, soft robes and apothecary-style offerings like candles by Seda France and Voluspa for shoppers seeking a little serenity.
Hits: Staff is helpful and well-informed, and this store is a nice, laidback departure from some of the cooler-than-thou kids on the block.
Misses: Prices and parking on Larchmont are slight drawbacks during peak shopping times.
Terrible Attitude.
The owner of this store is nasty and rude. She acts as if she does not care less whether she has your business or not. The clothing is over-priced and much of it is borderline tacky.
Walk up the block to Picket Fences for better clothes and more pleasant shopping.
RUDE EMPLOYEES. REALLY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE- COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. THE LADY WHO OWNS IT WAS NOT VERY HELPFUL , SHE SEEMED ALMOST IRRITATED THAT I ASKED QUESTIONS.
pleasant shopping. There's a Melrose location, but the Larchmont store carries a MUCH larger selection of items. If you're a basic shirts type of person, you're going to have alot of fun here. The prices are generally reasonable with more unique and embellished pieces going for more, of course. Miriam and her husband run the store and they're alot of help and super friendly. Trust me, they're easy to talk to and can give you alot of advice. And, they're just plain fun. The quality of the items are great although they do run short on certain sizes, particularly smaller ones.
