The Scene
In an upscale strip mall just blocks from the ocean, this full-service spa offers clean, comfortable rooms and a variety of amenities. Quickly gaining notice for quality treatments, this is just one of seven Amadeus Spa branches located in Southern California. Along with Paula Abdul and Bryant Gumbel, a few of the Mighty Ducks have also been rumored to waddle into this Newport Beach outpost for some rejuvenation.
The Services
With a knowledgeable staff and a wide variety of services, Amadeus will appeal to both seasoned spa-goers and neophytes alike. The Echo 2 Pure Oxygen treatment is one of the most popular facials, combining 87 different vitamins and minerals with pure oxygen. Also favored are indulgent packages such as the Body Break, an hour-long massage followed by an exfoliating Kona Loofah Glow under the Vichy shower. For an all-day escape, try the Carpe Diem--a 10-hour pampering that includes 10 of the most popular treatments as well as lunch.

I had a facial at Amadeus recently and it was probably the best facial or at least top 3 facials I have ever had in my life! My friends and I travel ever year to a different spa and experience different treatments. This year we decided to try Amadeus because they called in more therapists to take care of all of us at the same time past years they didn't so we were never able to all fit in. But I have to say my esthetician was wonderful. She was so knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in detail. I upgraded to Phytomer products and it was well worth the extra dollars! My skin felt amazing after! Try their facials! You will Love it!
Pros: Best Facials! Very Accomodating Staff!
Cons: Parking!

I had been going to the same hair dresser for years. It was really hard to make a change but as bad as I felt I decided to give another salon a try after not being happy with the last few attempts my old hair dresser had had. Older hair stylists are overrated! They tell you what you want instead of giving you what you want! Amadeus had a free haircut with color special, and I felt like it was the perfect opportunity with not much at stake! I had the most wonderful experience. The girls there were so welcoming. I had a "spa experience" in a hair salon! Hot tea and cookies and a haircut! The color turned out beautifully! I could not have asked for more! I am sticking with Amadeus from now on! My husband finally noticed my hair! Yes!
Pros: The hair color they use is top notch and leaves my hair in amazing condition! So silky & Shiny!
Cons: Don't Know of Any!
