The Scene
Named after the trees along San Vicente Boulevard, this roomy, high-ceilinged spot is a cheerful place to nosh on a house-made muffin or shop for gourmet and organic goods. Place your order at the counter and take a seat in or outside, and the friendly staff will swoop in with your food.
The Food
Lunch and dinner include an addictive couscous salad and house-made soups, but breakfast is the real specialty. Focaccia packed with fluffy scrambled eggs, mozzarella, pancetta and roasted red peppers is grilled to golden perfection. The burrito with Jack and cheddar cheese, eggs and black beans is satisfying, but small. Challah French toast stuffed with cream cheese and strawberry preserves appears impressive on the plate. Moist pancakes colored purple from plump, wild blueberries are a wise choice.

Breakfast costs as much as dinner pretty much which is a bit strange, but this place is just great... for either breakfast or a casual dinner with some wine.

I'm a regular visitor at Coral Tree and I've never been dissappointed, be it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast/brunch is especially is great: I love the fresh-squeezed orange juice with a breakfast panini or syrup-topped french toast. Though parking can be a hassle with the valet, even when it's busy here I have never had to wait long for food. The bright interior really opens up the restaurant so it doesn't feel crowded, and with a big group it's fun to eat around the outdoor fireplaces.

Definitely a place I would recommend for lunch. We had great sandwiches and great side dishes. The service was quick and friendly. You can eat here if you want to linger or need a quick bite.
