There's focaccia packed with fluffy scrambled eggs, mozzarella,…

What to Drink:
Drinks almost outshine the food: The Earl Grey Latte is kissed with vanilla, fresh juice blends are refreshing and the Red Eye delivers an impressive caffeine buzz.
ambiance

  1. All the dishes I have tried are excellent, the coffees and teas are great (better than Urth if you ask me) and the ambience is very young and friendly.
  2. The food is good and the location is very good.
  3. If it weren't for the completely average food, lackluster ambience, truly awful desserts, and even worse service, this place has the makings of a nice neighborhood spot.
  4. The restaurant has nice decor.
  5. The restaurant is also very nice in terms of ambience and has great outdoor patio seating.
  6. So needless to say I totally recommend you not to go here even though the location and the set up may be enticing.
  7. Good food, Good atmosphere
  8. thought the crowd (there seemed to be many UCLA students with their laptops) and the ambience was fun and casual.
  9. We love that we can go to a place that has such an awesome atmosphere, friendly staff and tasty food.
  10. The bright interior really opens up the restaurant so it doesn't feel crowded, and with a big group it's fun to eat around the outdoor fireplaces.

  1. It took 30 minutes for the food to come and it turned out that my pie was not warm and the sandwich had an excessive amount of mayo.
  2. If it weren't for the completely average food, lackluster ambience, truly awful desserts, and even worse service, this place has the makings of a nice neighborhood spot.
  3. The turkey panini was good but the carrot cake was great!
  4. The price is decent, though the drinks and desserts are too expensive in my opinion.

  1. There is a good selection of salads, paninis, sandwiches, and pastas and the drinks are just amazing.
  2. Great coffee and assorted warm beverages but only so-so food.
  3. Nothing makes me happier than free WiFi, great coffee, and juicy fresh salads.
  4. The price is decent, though the drinks and desserts are too expensive in my opinion.
  5. So not only does this place have lots of space, wine, organic coffee, and pastries, but they have something that so many try, but fail, to acheive: good mac n' cheese.
  6. Coral Tree has the best espresso drinks and panini sandwiches (chicken pesto is the best).
  7. There is a huge selection of tea and coffee drinks that are all organic and taste absolutely delicious.
  8. Unlike Urth Caffe, another great place, Coral Tree Cafe serves wine and beer, which is a nice touch.
  9. Only bright spot -- good coffee.
  10. However, Coral Tree is in a class of its own as the prices are not outrageous, the food is really good (Paninis, Mac n Cheese and their Orchard Salad are my favs), the coffee is always perfect and I never walk out feeling like I wasted my money or my time
  11. Do not miss out on the wonderful drinks either, they have special drinks like Earl Grey Lattes that are just awesome!
  12. The steak salad is incredible, and the blended drinks are worth trying, too.
  13. It's not the best service since there are no real waiters and you order at the register, but it's a great spot to meet for brunch or coffee as well as people watching on the weekend.
  14. The food was great, I had the mint iced tea and Seared Ahi salad.

Let's Do Lunch

by Kika Davis 2 at Citysearch

Coral Tree is one of the great lunch hangout restaurants in Los Angeles. It gets kind of crowded on weekends, but it's not entirely impossible to get a table due to the huge space. If you can, find a seat outside during the week and use their free wi-fi to get some work done.

Went there for brunch. Terrible..ran out of OJ, potatoes, etc.So ordred just to try the place, no lie..50 mins later our food came out..We had to go ask 3 times what's going on..Never once saw a manager! We tried to enjoy but so many tables were complaining it was embarrassing to hear ,so we left. This is where the old saying applies..location, location, location. Can't believe they are even nominated in the rest catagory???

  • Pros: patio

Love this place

by MrPeter at Citysearch

Breakfast costs as much as dinner pretty much which is a bit strange, but this place is just great... for either breakfast or a casual dinner with some wine.

Perfect brunch place

by tlorenz at Citysearch

I'm a regular visitor at Coral Tree and I've never been dissappointed, be it for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast/brunch is especially is great: I love the fresh-squeezed orange juice with a breakfast panini or syrup-topped french toast. Though parking can be a hassle with the valet, even when it's busy here I have never had to wait long for food. The bright interior really opens up the restaurant so it doesn't feel crowded, and with a big group it's fun to eat around the outdoor fireplaces.

  • Pros: Ambiance, variety of food
  • Cons: Parking

Love it.........

by ocjade at Citysearch

I love Coral Tree. As a struggling grad student, im trying to live a champagne lifestyle on a boxed wine budget. However, Coral Tree is in a class of its own as the prices are not outrageous, the food is really good (Paninis, Mac n Cheese and their Orchard Salad are my favs), the coffee is always perfect and I never walk out feeling like I wasted my money or my time. It is a nice escape where I can sit and relax with friends or even bring my laptop to do work. I love it and it's location makes it even more appealing. The one thing I havent tried yet are their deserts, but they always look good. Maybe next time.......
