Best Kept Secret in South Bay. Just went to Blue Pacific for the first time recently, and it quickly became one of my favorite spots in South Bay. All the sashimi and sushi rolls we had were excellent....very high quality food. Try the Hermosa Roll, it's fantastic!

Relaxed eatery near the beach offers Asian fusion fare in a refined, resort-style setting.. In Short
Just a few blocks south of Hermosa Pier's rowdy cocktail scene, this former Greek cafe features classic black decor, simple artwork and mirrors, flowing draperies and large windows. Sushi-loving surfers feed on spicy tuna, fresh-water eel and blue crab rolls. A la carte entrees include Korean barbeque, and Chinese- and Thai-influenced specialties such as orange chicken, ginger tofu, wasabi tuna steak, and shrimp chili. Desserts range from green-tea mochi ice cream to New York-style cheesecake a la mode.

Interesting culinary creations. An Asian fusion restaurant that has interesting food like their breaded shrimp served with a banana ketchup (it's good!) to the more traditional sushi rolls with spicy tuna and sprouts. The tofu salad is really good, as well as the ahi tuna salad. The shrimp chili isn't nearly as creative, as it seems to be shrimp just cooked in Asian sweet chili sauce. The sushi rolls really stand out as being different and their salads are terrific. The ambience leaves something to be desired, as does the service. The portions are small and they are all served a la carte. Probably best to do tapas style and order several different dishes.
