Home Run Hot Dogs!. The Dip presents THE INFIELD!

Once I dipped and forever I will bite at THE INFIELD! The management and ownership are wonderful and the service is fast, friendly, and fascinating. I grabbed a delicious dog this afternoon and I was back at the intersection of Ventura and Beverly Glen/Tyrone without missing a beat at the following traffic signal change. And the best part is, when you're not in a scurry for time, you can hang out and hear Robert's stories. While at THE INFIELD, try to guess from where the seats are. Tonight, I met Mike, a patron, who'd enjoyed the Twinkee Dog the night before... and I believe his recommendation, because he was back for another dog tonight! Oh, and as proof that he really had had a Twinkee Dog, a phone picture! My sons and I greatly enjoyed our dogs. Daniel - S'mores Dog, James - Dodger Dog with BBQ (to die for) sauce and I had the BBQ Rib Dog. At the end... one happily ever after family.

Soggy. This is a cute spot, only outdoor seating. I was excited to try but sadly, the bread is soggy, meats are not very tasty, and very bland. Every item on the menu is pricey. I was disappointed.

YUMMO - Seriously this sandwish rocks. After a long week I went here Friday to pick up dinner for the family. We ordered 3 roast beef and 1 pastrami. All with Au jus on the side - and it was all great. The meat here was tender and juicy - no gristle or tough spots. The Au jus tasty and the sides were good. They even have a special buy 4 sandwiches and get one free, and the combos are priced pretty well around 9 bucks for a large sandwich (which really is large) a side, and a drink. Well worth the wait if there's a line.

Best Dip Outside of Downtown!!. I frequent this place! Try the potroast dip. It's amazing. Another tip is to ask them to spread mashed potatoes on the bread and get one of the cheeses. It sounds strange, but it is common for regulars and it is great!!

I have had the turkey, a great alternative to beef, the pastrami is good, but a tad salty with the au jus.

There is a car wash on the same corner. Go get the car washed and while it's getting cleaned go get a great sandwich!!

Best Sandwich Around!. My wife and I went there for lunch and loved it! The Roat Beef Dip was fantastic. The meat was extremely tender and juicy. The sides are great and the portions are large.

This is an inexpensive spot for lunch or dinner. It's not fancy, but they're not trying to be. This is straightforward food for those who appreciate quality and service. They know what they're good at and stick to it...very smart.

We'll be back!

Not what I expected. I'd driven past this place a 100 times, and I finally decided to check it out. Let me just say that I've had my share of roast beef sandwiches, and this one ranked as one of the worst. The owner seemed really nice. The people working there were, too. But the sandwich was NOT good. I've had been roast beef at Subway, and that's saying something.

Great Dips.... Having lived in the Sherman Oaks area for a few years now...I've always passed a little shack on Ventura right near by the Casa de Cadallic. By its exterior, you'd never think they'd cook up good food. However, being curios one day...I stopped by. I ordered a simple 'ol Roast Beef Dip. The price was reasonable...with drink, chips and the sandwich...I hit the $8 range. The sandwich came piled on with meat. Probably at least 1/2 pound...probably more since the sandwich fills me up and other things that say they are a "half pound" don't do the trick for me. The sandwich was heavenly, the meat was tender and delicous. The only drawback is that there is only about 3 tables there and a few chairs to sit on. Considering this is more of a hidden treasure, I haven't yet seen it packed...despite the fact the food is so good.

Tiny corner stand specializes in French Dip sandwiches with traditional carb-heavy accompaniments.. In Short
This counter-service-only eatery offers a few tables clustered under a green awning. Six sandwiches--pot roast, turkey, pastrami, roast beef, pork and lamb--are dunked once in au jus unless a double dip or "submerged" is requested. Traditional sides include mashed potatoes, macaroni salad and soup du jour. The "Atkins Plate" contains two types of meat, roasted red peppers and a pickle half, and the veggie dip is filled with eggplant, peppers and portabella mushrooms.

Amazing Dip. Its looks are misleading from the outside, but they serve the best dips I have probably ever had. I'm still trying all the flavors they offer, but the pot roast is to die for. Get it double dipped for eactra flavor.

WE FOUND FELIPE. If you're fond of Felipe's downtown - consider this little stand "Felipe's" West. AWESOME dip sandwiches from Beef to Lamb, Pastrami and Pot Roast, Turkey and more. Once you try it, you'll find ways to stop by it! Great food at reasonable prices.
