Nice Location with good View. I had the Mediterranean Ahi Salad which had a good amount of tuna in it, but otherwise was quite tasteless. Two others in the group enjoyed their salmon, but one said it was too undercooked on one side. Service was good.

Love AJ, the new sushi chef!. My friend and I stumbled upon the sushi bar by accident when we were going to the bar to get a few drinks. AJ took great care of us. Good selection of rolls and the raw fish was fresh. He has "chalkboard" specials that are amazing. Since he's from Hawaii, I tried the Hawaiian style short ribs - yum! Good food and nice eye candy...what could be better?

Great Atmosphere, Love the New Lounge / Firepit Area. For those who left negative reviews, I suggest you give Bluewater Grill another try. They have spruced up their look and menu. We were really impressed by their improvements. We sat in the newly remodeled area behind the bar, it was hip and romantic. We ordered the ponzu scallop appetizer to start off with, it is to die for, WOW! I highly recommend, it is that good. Are dinners were just as amazing, I had the Salmon Special and my husband the Ahi Special. After dinner we sat out on the patio around the firepit and had drinks, which I must say were made just right. You could actually taste the alcohol. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful dining experience. Great atmosphere, good service and a new found favorite date spot:) No wonder they were voted "Best Of Seafood"

A favorite "go to" seafood place for us. My husband and I dine out about four times a week. Having fine food and wines is important to us. We go to the high end restaurants all around SoCal, but we also have our favorite places where there's no pretense, just passion about what is served from the kitchen. We dine a couple of times a week with friends, family and/or business associates just for fun and often Bluewater Grill is where we end up.

It's hard to beat a menu that's printed daily because the seafood comes in fresh every few hours. We continue to love hanging out at the seafood bar for really leisurely times punctuated with delicious shellfish and just sitting amidst the pleasing decor of the dining rooms and enjoying their fish from around the world at other times. We're well pleased with the kitchen's preparations and the service always has been up to par and friendly for us.

I would recommend Bluewater to anyone who appreciates freshness and quality.

great seafood!. Overall great seafood and menu for everyone and kid friendly. We regularly entertain clients, our family and have even hosted a rehearsal dinner at Bluewater and it is always a crowd pleaser. The management is so helpful to tailor each experience to the occasion. I highly recommend this restaurant.

so good!. We always used to just go out to the cheesecake factory, until we happened upon the bluewater. The hostesses at cheesecake quoted us a 60 minute wait, so we decided to try next door instead. We lucked out! The view at this place is incredible- make sure to ask for a table up front, so you can watch the sunset- or even spy on the people who live on their boats! I've been craving their grilled spiny lobster like mad... I need to find out when it comes back in season. This place is a little-known gem.

Best Seafood in the South Bay?. I used to go on a monthly basis a few years ago, but now find that I am just not interested. The views are great for sure. The staff is professional and the food is often flavorful and well-prepared. It just seems so dull...

I decided to go back last week to see how things have changed. They haven't. This is probably the place you would go to bring out-of-towners when you do not want to be seen out by your local friends.
