Rush to Lush. On New Years Eve, we spent the night with some friends from the Bay Area. One of the ladies was wearing the most perfect shoes I have ever seen. I assumed they were probably from a store in San Francisco, where they live. She told me they were from a store ( to my embarrassment, a few blocks from my house) called Lush. I came by first thing this morning and bought them. They really have a cute selection and the girls were sweet. I will be back!!!!

I found my Solemate..... A friend referred me to her lady who does alterations in Studio City. Low and behold, my attention was drawn to the shoe boutique next door. I definitely had a Carrie Bradshaw moment.....

I first tried to behave myself and just stared in through the window. There was too much temptation. I had to go for it.

This was the first time that I have ever walked into a shop and liked everything on display. I would not necessarily wear everything they had, but i could appreciate what the owners or buyers have done.

I tried on a bunch of things ( no self control) and loved them all.

I got four pairs of shoes for under 400.00. If I had gone into Barneys, I would have spent more on one pair.

Adorable Shoe Store. I have not been shopping in Studio City for at least two years. One of the main reasons I stopped was due to the snobby shop girls. I felt like every time I walked into one of the many boutiques on Ventura Blvd, the sales girls would completely ignore myself and any other customer in the store. I was completely turned off.

However, it seems like many stores have come and gone in this area over the last few years.

Lush is a breath of fresh air for the sometimes "snobby" Studio City. I was welcomed with a "hello" when I walked in. The sales girl was really funny and had me laughing within moments. She was knowledgable and honest, which is always a plus. I found many brands that I had never heard of ( ALL Black and Pour La Victorie) and many that I already loved ( Sam Edelman and Dolce Vita).

I left Lush with many new additions to my shoe collection. I also visited some new stores in the neighborhood.

First time on Ventura Blvd for shopping. I have been dining in Studio City for a few years and have always told myself that I need to set aside some time and walk on Ventura to shop the boutiques.

Can not believe I waited so long..

Lush had such a cute mix of flats, wedgies, and some super hot boots. Very fashion forward with out being way too trendy. What I really liked, was the variety of styles and colors. Very adorable shop.

Also found some great other stores which I will review as well.

Great Neighborhood Boutique. One of my all time favorite stores. I have been shopping here since day one. People always ask me where my shoes are from and I send them to Lush...

The selection is awesome and they always have a great variety of brands with affordable price points.

They carry Dolce Vita, Jeff Campbell, LAMB, XTC, All Black and many others depending on the season.
