Shanghainese eatery with a xiaolongbao that packs in quite a bit of flavor. They're larger than your average soup dumpling and the skin is super thin -- almost translucent. Mei Long XLB's come in a pack of ten and it's a great option for those who prefer more meat to dough. The pricing is $5.95 for the pork and $6.95 for the crab.

Good, inexpensive and filling!. This is one of our new regular eateries. Have to get their Shanghai steamed dumplings and the crispy house special chow mian. Ambiance is not everything here and it can get pretty busy, but it's definitely worth the food and the buck you'll save.

Great no frills Shanghainese food. If you want cheap but good Shanghainese food, this is the place. Try their dumplings, Shanghainese noodle, wonton... everything that I've had here taste so good. Three dishes and a soup = a bill of ~$20. Great deal!

Pretty cheap about $5...
Also try the entree "house special four treasures"
Overall one of the best chinese food in LA
