Great food, intimate ambiance
by klemboubou
Waouwwww!!!! I've just read the previous reviews and I'm really surprised... I had a really nice time in this place.
I dined there last saturday night with my fiance; we booked on opentable ; and we had the most romantic night ever.
There was an artist who was singing the old French classics, it was beautiful! Not too loud, just perfect.
We had the escargots- simply delicious- the fish special -the sauce was unbelievable- and the filet mignon - tender.
We shared a dessert crepe, which was huge and delicious, it reminded me of Paris.
I recommend this place, I will go back there.
- Pros: Romantic ambiance
- Cons: open only 4 nights
No, No, No.

We arrived in time for our reservation and were seated promptly. Our waiter came and explained the special, which is what I wanted right off the bat. The downfall was that wasn't what my boyfriend wanted but since I really wanted it and the special was for two people he agreed. First course was Nicoise salad something fishy and bland and room temperature accompanied with artificial tasting citrusy oil. Terrible. Second was pasta. I know how to cook, I am a culinary school graduate so I know for a fact that pasta only congeals into a cold disgusting lump when it has been sitting out for awhile. This was exactly what we got. A congealed lump of flavored pasta coated in a low quality olive oil. Third was crepe It came huge and this excited us because it smelled good. First bite was pure fat. I think I actually took it right out of my mouth. By the time I got to my third bite I passed the rest to my boyfriend who was still hungry and very angry about the lousy food. The dining room is VERY noisy with thier band (not music but Noise). We were sitting in a secluded corner in the room and still had to lean over to hear each other. The bill was well over $80 and was the WORST waste of money (in a California restaurant, the other was for Bobby Flay's restaurant in NYC). We left feeling very cheated and very disappointed. I urge everyone to NOT believe the website of this place.
- Pros: Parking in the back
- Cons: Food, Noisy
THE WORST FRENCH RESTAURANT EVER
by calibabes
I choose a French restaurant because it had to be good no? WRONG. None of the employes were smiling to us, the worst was the busboy, you can tell that he do not like the job there. Ok we are not senior because I thinks all the patrons were over 60s, but can we have some service at our table Please. The food was ok, I had a crepe with chicken a way too much cheese, I couldn t finsh it, the Tuna salad of my friend was good but the Mussels were too salty, we told to the funny busboy who never changed it and no one asked why our plates were almost full. Ok ready for the worst part, when I went to the bathroom at the end of my meal, I saw the chef pick up some FOOD FROM THE FLOOR and put it back into the pan, IT WAS DISGUSTING. If only a Health inspector was there he will close this place right away. I didn t say anything but I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND this place. Terrible experience.
- Pros: Beverly Hills
- Cons: DIRTY, BAD SERVICE
Okay Bistro on Little Santa Monica in Beverly Hills

When we got here at 6 pm, we were the only ones here. The waiter was nice, and the open kitchen is hidden behind a counter. The atmosphere is decent, filled with rows of French Bistro tables and fake Mona Lisa paintings hanging everywhere. There is a small accordeon band that entertains and sells their CDs at the same time. The salad was good, big portion, but great dressing, the crepe was more like a calzone, a bit overstuffed with paperthin crepe surrounding it. Not bad. One of the more affordable restaurants in this ritzy area.
- Pros: Salad Dressing, Cafe Mocha, French accents, Nice server
Great lunch, tasty and reasonnably priced
by annamariam
I work next door to their place and have lunch there up to 3 times a week, I love their salads, big enough for two, but that I eat all by myself ;) If you want to indulge yourself, try their French fries too (definitely the best in the neighborhood) and their Napoli panini, not French but SO good.
Service is good. They also deliver and are pretty fast.
I definitely recommend that place.
- Pros: variety of salads and sandwiches
