Are we visiting the same bar?. I used to think this was a cool neighborhood spot, but it has changed tremendously. To begin with, there's nothing but men there... hardly any women, if any at all. The type of guys that go are slimy russian armenian men who are ready to fight if you even look at them the wrong way. The last couple of time I have gone, there was no dee-j, just the radio playing. The drinks are overpriced, and under poured. The two new bartenders that were there saturday night couldn't have seemed more bored, but I was too so I understand. Don't waste your time or money.

Who needs Hollywood when you have Sidebar. I love this place!!!

Great deco, relaxing atmosphere, great staff and a truly diverse mix of people. The music is off the hook with plenty of room to dance. it's overall a very comfortable place.

The best thing about it is that you dont have to drop a small fortune, the drinks are very reasonably priced, but are packed with alcohol.

Perfect Lounge. An ideal lounge when you want to avoid the traffic, parking and people of Hollywood. Great atmosphere with a great staff. Drink prices are half and the portions are double that of Hollywood bars.

And did I mention that they showcase great young local talent? Pick a night of the week and see what's going on at Sidebar. Keep up the good work.

SideBar, Thursday nights. I thought SideBar was a great find and future hot spot for Glendale; an intimate, kick-back lounge that has a friendly staff and recently a growing number of mixed patrons. Thursday nights being my favorite, there's great drink specials along with some of LA's best DJs spinning everything from sexy, deep, funky, vocal house to hip hop to get your groove on to. It's a great singles spot or place to take a date or group of friends, or just have a couple drinks before heading off into Hollywood.

Moroccan-themed Glendale lounge is a hot spot for the local Armenian social scene.. In Short
This candlelit lounge is a study in opulent red-and-gold hues. Two cozy cubbyholes by the entrance, complete with sashed curtains, evoke an "I Dream of Genie" vibe. Leather barstools at the extended bar provide posh seating, as do pillowed benches running down the opposite side of the mustard-colored wall. DJs spin futuristic Armenian folk and house--along with popular American dance-floor favorites--for a mixed crowd of 20- to 50-somethings.
