Awesome Place. Read the last review and obviously it's personal. Now about my experience!

Had a awesome time. Got there early for the lessons as recommended. The lesson allowed me to meet and dance with different ladies. Everyone was super friendly and we all laughed at ourselves for our efforts. The instructor made it fun. After the lesson was over me and my buddy went to the bar to have a couple of drinks and order some food. Food was great, loved the shrimp (cameron) pasta. My buddy ate the filet mignon. Our server was great. The band was awesome. Met a lot of new people. I will be back.

Very Rude Manager, Monique. I've been planning to attend the venue for the past 2 months and been planning with Monique via email for a after party bridal shower for the bride to be and the girls. She ensured me that we would get in. She said that we would pay $10 for the lesson and would be the cover charge, but make sure to arrive early so we can grab tables.

Come the day of our arrival this past Saturday. All the girls met after the bridal shower we just left and the bride to be was so excited to get some Salsa lessons! So we arrive, first thing...the door person asks us to pay $15 for entrance fee. Hmmm...thought it was only $10? I mentioned that Monique said it was only $10 if we were going to take lessons. Had to go through the whole hassle of asking for her to come to the door. Okay, so we were able to pay $10. Next thing, Mario Lopez was in the house, filming at the venue! There were lots of extras who were hired to attend! So we were sitting chatting up, when one fot eh producers asked us if we were extras and asked us to be quiet because of the filming. Ummm...we paid to get in and they were not paying us to be quiet. So I spoke to Monique, she said it was going to be 10 to 15 mins till the lessons start and then gives us the option to refund our money to leave. She also claimed that we never spoke over the emails that went back and forth. What the hell kind of customer service is that? Since she wanted to kick us out, we asked her if we could get a validation, then she tells us they don't validate when we clearly parked in their valet lot! Then she threatens to call the cops...because we were asking for validation or just cuz we wouldn't "be quitet during the filming of Mario Lopez?" Then she calls the security over. And we leave when we got our money back.

Do not plan any type of events here because of the rude service. The manager should of shutdown the venue. Never again...they lost a couple of great customers.

Live Latin music lures in locals to this Studio City restaurant and nightclub.. In Short
A narrow, steep staircase leads into a large room painted in sizzling crimson and amber hues. Tiny round booths flank the spacious dance floor, where well-practiced salseros and awkward newbies gather to hear the sexy sounds of regular performers like Johnny Polanco, Son Mayor and mariachi bands. The Latin-inspired menu features tapas, lime-drenched seviche and New York steak.

great salsa dancing. friendly and fun. the crowd here was good at dancing but with a small space, people are compeled to be respectful to others--good vibe if you're still a begineer. a lot of young poeple--this is all on THursday night, the only night I go. I ate here once--i got these chips dusted in dulce de leche--delicious! i parked on the main street, no prob. if you cant get into ice (which i hear is not good and is way smaller than it looks), go here!

small dance floor but it has its perks. opt for closed toed shoes if you can.

Dancing great, food not so great. I have been to this restaurant and club well over 20 times since it opened. It offers a great atmosphere and feature top salsa bands from Los Angeles on a regular basis. My past experiences with the food, such as paella and steaks, used to be positive. During my last two visits, the service was extremely slow. My group waited 40 minutes to 1 hour for our food. When the food arrived, it was below warm and lacking flavor. On top of that the server needed some serious customer service training. Even the management takes time to visit friends but ignores other guests. I'm not sure if I will give it another chance. I'd like to see this restaurant survive. In order to do so, there needs to be some changes. One or two bad experiences can make someone, like myself, lose interest forever. I hope your experience is better.
