The Scene
This cozy outgrowth of the popular Larchmont Animal Clinic eschews the harsh fluorescent lighting and glaring linoleum floors found in chain pet stores. There's even a friendly feline on the second floor to welcome shoppers. Though the inattentive service leaves something to be desired, the vast stock of food, toys and accessories exceeds expectations.
The Goods
Everything you need to pamper your pet is here in abundance: gourmet treats, fluffy beds, sequined collars, health foods and meaty-flavored toothpastes. Dogs get extra attention with a impressive selection of sturdy toys and doggie togs, including sweaters, wedding costumes, rain slickers, boots and T-shirts. For the feline set, there's a decent supply of high-tech litter and springy playthings.

Yeah, the guy at the front was pretty weird and didn't even look me in the eye or smile when I asked if they had a particular cat treat. Anyways, I will probably still shop there though since I live around the corner, but would feel better if it were a little bit more warm and inviting on the inside.

~High Five~ Yes, very, very true. The "desk clerk" (male) is more like a representative for the "Night of the Living Dead....and to add insult to injury.....I've also been told "your cat" is not safe at the Larchmont Clinic....Darn...is there anything left in the world that has not been affected by bushy. Is everyone "bitter, angry, sucidual"???
