Do Not Buy from here......

by nbrian

Do not buy from here. I have to agree, it's all about attitue of the owner, treat the customer like shi*. They are just sustaining the busniess since it's only shop near school. Price is really ridiculous compare to any other place that sells bicycle. I bought a lock and bicycle here since I needed one fast but I regret so much. Lock was broken shortly after purchase and when returned the owner threw the lock in the corner in front of me as if he is pissed off. I would highly recommend buying on-line if you don't have access to other places. Toy's R Us is a better option. Do yourself a favor, DO NOT BUY from here. This guy is not honest nor professional.‎

  • Pros: nothing - poor service and worst price
  • Cons: just about everything

Horrific customer service, stole my money

by emmya

I bought a bike carrier that ended up being opened and missing parts. I paid cash and foolishly didn't get a receipt. They refused to take it back, were extremely rude. I filed an official compliant and encourage anyone else who has had a terrible experience with them to do so as well. Go elsewhere. If you can't, ASK FOR A RECEIPT, inspect the full product before you give them money.

THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!!!

You know that feeling you get that just makes you want to p@#$% babies in the Face!, well replace the baby with this Shop owner and that's pretty much it.

If you cycle Do NOT go here. From the get-go the lady at the counter(probably the owner) was a total b@#$%.

I had purchased a set of track wheels for my road bike about 6 months ago from them, and it was a ok deal, and at the time they seemed cool.

When i came back to figure out my leak problem, i wished i never bought the wheels from them to begin with.

Right off the bat i could tell that she wasn't having a good morning, so i was as mellow and civil about my question as possible, before i could finish telling her what i was there for, she interrupted me with "Oh looks like you got h@# by someone.." and throws me this attitude as if this is last thing she ever wanted 'a repeat customer'.

Not only is the service terrible but it seemed like everyone at the shop was running at 100% total incompetency. After storming off to the back to explain in Spanish the problem to one of the coworkers, she begins to yell at me about how someone had drilled a hole in my wheel through the stem hole, in order to fit a different tube stem & , and why i didn't come straight to them instead of going to my LOCAL shop, which is hell of alot closer then USC.If indeed that was the case, then the guys at my local shop were doing that in order to SMOOTH out the hole from any sharp surfaces, not making the hole larger: the leak was a problem a month after i bought the wheels to begin with).

Monopoly power over USC

by te55

Don't expect much. Be careful shopping for a bike here - it seems easy to get ripped off if you don't know exactly what to look for. The owner sold me a used bike, and it was only a few weeks later that I realized I wouldn't ever be able to refill the back tire. But I had a rusty chain that was off of the gear. They offered to put the chain back on the gear for free.

Slow, inept repair work

by gingerrogers

Terrible bike shop with awful customer service. I took my bike in for a simple flat tire and broken cable housing. None of the mechanics on duty spoke fluent English, so after a bit of mumbling and pointing I explained what needed fixing and they promised to have it done that afternoon.

I came back in a few hours, only to discover that the bike had been forgotten in the back room. After asking again and standing around for 45 minutes, the mechanic finally finished the repair. Meanwhile, I saw a stream of other customers getting terrible service as well, including one man who left in frustration as the clerk didn't seem to understand the difference between an innertube for a road bike and one for a mountain bike.

Steer clear of this bike shop, as they only seem competent in selling the most basic parts and making rudementary repairs to beach cruisers.

  • Pros: Close to USC campus, sells used bikes and parts for cheap
  • Cons: Terrible service, forgetful staff
