Competent, Highly Responsive, Exceeds Expectations. My first interaction with Gizmo was about four years ago. We were reorganizing the layout of our home and ultimately made our living room into our tv/entertainment room. The challenge was that we wanted to keep the overall antique aesthetic of the living room intact and it was important to my wife that the TV and surround sound system only be seen when we're actually using it. I came across Gizmo as I was researching options and I immediately liked their ideas and demeanor. We decided on a motorized art frame built into the wall, the idea being that when the artwork was down, you'd see nothing but a picture frame and artwork. Pretty fancy, but the perfect solution for us.

The installation did not go as smoothly as one might hope. The $8400 motorized art frame had some malfunction that made it intermittently not work, which of course was unacceptable. The Gizmo team spent two days (on their dime) tracking down the problem and discovered it was the art unit's controller that was faulty. Immediately it was concluded that the entire $8400 piece needed to be replaced and 10 days later a fresh, perfectly operational unit arrived. I haven't had a problem with it since.

There have been other hiccups along the way, but what I've always been immensely impressed with is just how accountable and responsive they are to anything not perfect. If anything isn't right, they make it right. I've heard too many horror stories from friends about their "AV Guy" taking advantage of them or not living up to their promises.

Since meeting the Gizmo team initially I've referred them to at least a dozen friends and business associates. I consistently get exceedingly positive feedback and thus will continue to refer them.

Great installation. They knew their stuff, did a great job installing everything. Very professional installation crew. I use the system everyday and love it.
