Editorial Review for Volcano Tea – by Mar Yvette

In Short
Considered one of the original boba spots on the West Coast, this clean and inviting cafe has become synonymous with the popular Thai iced tea drink. Dark woods, earthen tones and recessed lighting create a warm atmosphere, while the broad selection of specialty drinks (milk tea, cappuccino, smoothies) keep the local patrons cool. Daily food specials are also available, including fare like popcorn chicken, fried squid balls and pork buns.

This place is considered one of the originators of the boba craze and it's a good spot to get the tasty, gummy drink. The cafe is surpringly clean and modern and the service friendly.

Pros: Clean cafe, tasty boba

Cons: Parking can be hard to find

Just went there for my first time yesterday, July 8, 2007. A/C was working really good. I have read the Reviews before I went there, all were negative about the girls. I'm a guy and some of the girls working there are really really hot looking. The cashier wasn't rude to me. I ordered a Jasmin Iced tea without sugar and it was ok. I'll tell you one thing, if I'm near Volcano Tea, I'm definitely going back!!! From Yoshi: abj1835@yahoo

Pros: The employees (Girls), great music
