Great personalized service.
I took a violin for a free repair estimate, and he spent an hour giving me useful information, explaining the issues with the instrument, and answering my questions about the repairs (and anything else I wanted to ask about violin-making). He was patient and didn't rush, and very generous with his time.
He has the philosophy that the instrument should be adjusted to the player, and that he should get to know the player well to understand the preferences.

I love this shop!!!.
I had rehair and adjustment of my instrument done in this shop and I am 100% satisfied by what he did.
He wants to know not only our instruments, but also players (us) because he believes that each player has different tastes in sound and he tries to create the best combination by knowing both of them.
If you want him to have a great work done for you, then please talk with him a lot so that he can get to know you better.

Excellent work!. This shop is located in a residential neighborhood in West Los Angeles. I've been here several times and I have been completely satisfied with all the work done on my violins and bows. The prices are fair and I know my instruments are in good caring hands! I'm sad to hear that someone else had a bad experience at this shop! String plays of all levels come here to have work done on their instruments. Look beyond the messy shop and you'll be happy you came!

What a terrible ride. Took my bow for re-hairing and violin for cleaning. His shop is a mess. He trips over instruments. He absolutely destroyed my bow, the tip had to be reconstructed. He had the nerve to charge me after repairing the damage he did. Did an average job cleaning the violin, and I paid an EXHORBITANT amount. DO NOT GO HERE. Absolutely disgusting service.
