Darien Gold is a no-nonsense instructor who really cares. She tailors each session to each individual or group, and knows how to set realistic and achievable goals. Trust me on this -- if you're serious, she will get you incredible results. Where else could you find a certified expert in Pilates, with additional knowledge from years in gymnastics and dance? Darien will take you beyond what you would ever expect from your body, and do it safely. She modifies every session to your energy level, and works around any aches and pains you may have. Also, she varies her exercises and her target areas, so you're not just repeating yourself in every class. Darien watches you like a hawk, so you know you're getting the maximum results from each exercise without overdoing it. If you want a warm and fuzzy experience, or like hiding in a large group, go elsewhere. But if you're a guy (like me) or a gal looking for results, this is THE place to achieve your goals (and beyond) in a private atmosphere with a caring expert.

Most Amazing Pilates Training Ever

I worked with Darien for years and she helped me make huge changes with my body. I walked taller, had fewer aches and pains and I was in the best shape (in all ways) of my adult life. Now that I have had a child I am going back to her to whip me back into shape...I know that the Studio Darien way is the best way for me to get my abs/core and back back.

A gifted pilates teacher

The best pilates classes I have ever had. Darien Gold is a comitted teacher

who is rigorous and focused. From her years of experience working with the body,

you get her no nonsense undivided attention devoted to you and your specific needs.

She is a gifted teacher.

If you would prefer a chatty session go somewhere else Darien is there

to get you working and help you reach your personal best.

Bring your focus with you and I promise you will not be disappointed. I have been

working out with her for several years now and I am delighted with the results.

The aches and pains that had prompted me to sign up for classes in the first place

have all disappeared and my posture has improved 100 per cent. I am very happy.

for individual attention that is supportive and encouraging and helps you envision dreams about yourself and your body you didn't even know you had, study pilates with darien gold.

• Pros: individualized instruction even if more than one is in a class
• Cons: darien doesn't live next door to me

Excellent instructor, very aware of each student's level and needs

I find it amazing that in a two or three person class, Darien is able to focus on your specfic need and challenge you. The constant adjustments she has you make assure that you get the most benefit from each session.

• Pros: Excellent sessions that are constantly changing and challenging
• Cons: Parking is an issue
