Great Company, Staff and Call Takers !! (:D – I have tried other cab companies and yet this is the one that has GREAT SERVICE.

((((((((( W A R N I N G )))))))))))) – was picked up this evening and delivered to my destination this evening without issue; in fact, the russian gentleman who picked me up was extremely nice......however, upon my return trip, there was a huge issue.....i flagged down cab #1118 at santa monica blvd near palm in west hollywood around 10:15pm this evening......when he dropped me off at santa monica and crescent heights around 10:30pm, he (a guy from india) cleared out the meter very quickly, hoping i wouldnt notice that it said $5.55 and he asked for $6.75 instead.....i gave him a $20 bill and said fine, give me change for $6.75 and he asked how much i was going to tip him too so he knew i much change to give me.....i told him i wanted it all back and he was upset that i caught him in this lie.....he gave me all but a quarter and after i exited his car, i realized that my blackberry had fallen out of my pocket in the back seat and tried to flag him down to get it back, but he practically ran me over because he was upset that i caught him in his lie......upon calling the company numerous times and being promised a call back, i've not received one.....PLUS, i email link on the website doesn't work.......i can identify this man and told the operators that if he gave it back, i wouldnt take this issue any further, but i've not heard back...... if this matter in not resolved quickly, i will take it to the taxi comission, west hollywood city hall and i'll wage a war on the internet....YOUR employee tried to scam me and i will not take it lying down....again, if he chooses to return the blackberry, i will drop the whole issue like it never happened.....he knows what he's done and probably has done to countless people and i can pick him out in a line-up.....i will also file a police report as this is a company phone......as you can tell, i'm furious with what took place tonight.....this has NEVER been my experience with any other cab company.....further, if this is not resolved in a timely manner, i will take legal action.....i don't prefer to take this route, but they may not leave me with any other option
DO NOT USE. INCIDENCE OF THEFT – Cab agreed rate then reneged. On police arrival driver agreed to original rate, complete waste of everyone's time. Then stole $50 from the credit card. Google a town car if you need a ride. cheaper and respectable. This particular cab was in very bad working order, respect for road signs and taxi maintenance was poor at best. Do not use. Judging from the other reviews, this is standard practice so save yourself the crime report paperwork and fear on top of the exorbitant rates.
WORST CAB SERVICE EVER – WORST CAB EXPERIENCE EVER. HE TRIED TO QUADRUPLE CHARGE ME, THEN WHEN I CALLED DISPATCH, HE DROVE OFF WITH THE DOOR OPEN AND ME HALFWAY IN THE CAB, TOSSING ME OUT.
WHEN I DID CALL THE COMPANY THEY TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY, SAYING THEY DON'T CONTROL THE DRIVERS...AVOID AT ALL COSTS -- I RATHER WALK ANY DISTANCE THEN TAKE THIS CAB COMPANY!!!!! (other friends have shared similar horror stories).

Best way to qualify a company is when you have a problem. We left an important in a cab coming in from an international flight. At first we thought it was an Independent Taxi; however when we went to their office we determined it wasn't.
Instead of leaving us on our own to find it - the owners used their resources to help determine which company did pick us up and as a result we were able to find a VERY important lost piece of luggage.
Oldest Company Still Rides Good – Good reviews and the company's reputation made me choose this taxi service for my first cab ride in Los Angeles. I have used it twice with no complaints and will choose it again next time I need a ride. Prompt pick-up time, street-smart drivers, fair pricing, senior discount availability are some of its pluses. Its large fleet manages to limit pick-up time between 5 to 15 minutes. Don't mistake this for other companies using the word "independent".
RIP OFFS – Watch these f******. They rip you off and if it happens to me or someone I know again I'm calling the police.
WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! – I had a meeting to be at at 5:30, so I call them at 4:30 ish, maybe even eariler than that. They tell me (like every cab service in Los Angeles County) they'll be 10-15 mins. So, at around 5 I get a little worried and I give them a call. The tell me it might be another 10-15 mins. (Just so you know I have very little patience) I called another cab company (Yellow cab) which picked me up at 5:15. At around 5:45 I get the rocorded call telling me my cab from Independent had come. I ignored it. So, they call me back, and a guy on the other line told me not to call them anymore, and I was wasting there time. So, if you like wonderful customer service, a on time arrival, and friendly serve from point A-B avoid the RED WHITE AND BLUE CABS!!
Cab never came...no service, no customer service – Called for a cab, they said 1/2 hour. I called after 40 minutes to politely check on the cab, got a curt response that they were busy and would "put in another call." After 20 minutes, my phone rang, no one there, but I figured it was the cab and went outside. No cab. Called back immediately, they said "oh, you're still waiting?", I explained politely what had just happened, they said they'd put in another call. I called again 20 minutes later, explained politely that I was still waiting; discovered they had the street name confused with a similar one (I gave a cross street, so they should have noticed, and after repeating my address 3 times you'd think someone would notice?). Waited, no cab. I called again 1 1/4 hours after original call, politely explained that I had been waiting a long time, the woman said she'd put me on hold; LAUGHED to her colleagues and said "she's calling back" before she pressed the hold button. Someone else picks up and says it's the cab company...had no idea what the situation was. After being asked to repeat the whole story again and after hearing that apparently they thought this was funny, I lost my temper, explained it all AGAIN. She told me to lower my voice because SHE wasn't raising hers, I asked her where my cab was, she said she had called me and no one was there, I told her I had called right back and there was no cab, I told her that if someone is having a problem like this they should be NOT put on hold and have to explain it again, she said they had just transferred the call to her without telling her what it was, I said that was a problem in the way THEY were handling things, and they were wasting my time, she said well what do you want from me? I said I need a f***ing cab, she said she was going to have to put in a call for me from another cab company ????, I asked for a supervisor, she said she was the supervisor, so I gave up at that point. PLEASE do not waste your time by using this inept and rude company!
