In Short – Considering its primo location and high-profile clients, you might expect a little attitude at this chic beauty spot. But step beyond its adorable cottage-like facade and you'll find vintage fabric-coated chairs, a small bowl of Belgian chocolates and ... people who are nice! Black-and-white photos of old Hollywood movie stars are perched along the walls, while paparazzi armed with cameras sit outside hoping to catch a glimpse of clients like Britney Spears and Eva Longoria. The team of stylists specialize in everything from master coloring to the latest cuts and hair…
Adam is a Hair Color God
by blondisthenewblack at Citysearch
I am a news anchor who is on TV everyday - so I need to have perfect hair all of the time. Problem is, I have almost black hair that I color blond which was always turning slightly orange. So, when I heard Kim Vo was the "best blonder", I naturally made an appointment with him. I was REALLY disappointed!! I went back though (I know, you're asking yourself why I would go back after a crappy dye job!!) and I am so glad I did because I was scheduled with Adam and he is AMAZING!!!! I have been seeing him for 2 years now and my hair is so natural looking - so much so that when I went for laser hair removal, the technician said, "Natural blonds don't always have the best luck with laser hair treatments." There is a down side to B2V though - although, the salon did get a little remodel, it is still a little dirty. ... especially the closet sized bathrooms. But, Adam is worth it. If you have ever had problems with your dark hair turning brassy and orange when you're trying to go blond - just go to Adam and he'll make you look like you've always dreamed!!!!
Good with Ethnic Hair! If you are not use to spending money on yourself you may be in shock with price.

I was afraid to get my hair done here because I didn't know anyone who had ever gone there. After reading reviews I thought I would give it a try. I did have some sticker shock when I found out the price for the Japanese hair straightener but because I had an event comming up I forced myself to see the value in it. I think I was there 4 or 5 hours... I have a lot of hair. I think my stylist was named Vito. He was awesome. I hadn't eaten anything all day and I didnt want to buy myself lunch (my hair was expensive) and I think he felt bad for me or something cause he gave me half of his own sandwhich! The only bad thing that happend to me was that durring the consultation he told me they take Discover Card. After I went through the whole straightening process I went to pay my bill only to find that they do not take Discover and I didnt have another card on me! I had to take money out of the ATM on my credit card which is pretty bad intrest wise but at least MY HAIR LOOKS AMAZING!!
- Pros: service and skill are above expectation
- Cons: parking and they dont know what credit cards they take after years being open!
Disappointed

My first time at this salon. My hairdresser was in a hurry. Didn't even offer me water. Nor, did he ask me about the conditioning treatment. I was out of there with haircut and blowdry in 30 minutes. Did not receive the personalized service i was expecting.
- Pros: location, ambiance, skill
- Cons: hurried vibe, not personal
