Editorial Review for Fritto Misto – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
This South Bay cafe is bright for the daytime's cubicle set, cozy when the dinner crowd takes over. A popular starter is ricotta-stuffed pasta, and the house salad is a melange of mixed greens, walnuts and pine nuts. Menu specialties range from classics like chicken Marsala and lasagna to atomic pasta, a simmering toss of chili linguini, bell peppers, Cajun-spiced chicken and chipotle cream. Diners may also choose to create their own combinations of pasta, vegetables and sauce.

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

I used Fritto Misto to cater a lunch for a client meeting and they were fantastic to work with. Not only that, the food was tasty and well priced. The catering manager helped me to pick out dishes that were appropriate for the crowd I was serving and everything was very well received. I will definitively be using them in the future!

Pros: Service, Food

Cons: None

This place is very inviting, the service is amazing but the food is lacking. You are safe if you order a salad but you can get lettuce anywhere. I ordered a Fettucini Alfredo and while it was delicious, i spent the next few hours after dinner "toosing my cookies". Any time the Alfredo sauce isnt made fresh, it will make you sick, and i thought about this before ordering but i figured it would be okay. I was wrong!! My party also ordered some fried calamari but they were pretty tasteless. This is the third time i've been to this restaurant and i've ordered something different everytime, however it always leaves me wondering if i came on a bad day. I can tell you i am never going back, everyday is a bad day at Fritto Misto.

Pros: Service is amazing, ambience is good

Cons: Meter parking, Food is bad.
