As to writer's review. Ame mi sells well-chosen clothing from around the world, clothing and accessories you cannot easily find in the malls. All clothing is marked up correctly. The idea they sell 'cheap' clothing is laughable and shows the ignorance of the 'reviewer' who did not mention the lines she was talking about. All the lines are current. There are some pieces that have been marked down, in fact. Thousands of customers have shopped there over the years and are still wearing what they have purchased there. Sometimes you have to pay a few more dollars for an item that is sewn and designed well.

It is easy to write an unfavorable review. It is something else to appreciate and shop a store that goes out of its way to bring great designs at fair prices that will look great years after you purchased them.

one of my favorite stores in the world.. I first went to this store in march 2010. It is now run by a famous stylist who's name is Erin. She greeted me with such warmth, and shared the clothings history with me, which was fascinating. She buys top quality clothing from all around the world. She knows your body and tells you the truth about how something looks on you rather then just saying everything looks good just to make a sale. Feeling such welcomed and informed about what I am actually wearing there is no one else I would rather have dress me then her.

Warning Don't Be Fooled. Cheap Clothes At VERY High Prices.. This store is pretty much a knock off store passing as a high end boutique because of the area. Don't be fooled. They are selling cheap poorly made clothing at high prices and so many people are falling for their tricks. Don't bother giving these people the satisfaction of even walking into their store. I went into the store today. Though I was the only one in the store the worker seemed too busy (doing nothing) to greet me with a hello. A piece of fake jewelry in this store cost 80 dollars. A long thin raggedy sweater cost 200 dollars. A black dress costs 1,000 dollars. The only good thing about this place is that there is a chipotle and a pinkberry right next door. If you want to check for yourself peek into the door first and if you see a lady who looks evil enter at your own risk. They make up prices. These people are a bunch of manipulators because they know that people with a lot of money will buy anything at any price. But I sure wouldn't throw my hard earned money away in that store.
