friendly clientele, very dirty environment, horrible place, worst manicure, decent pedicures, horrible experience
Disgustingly filthy /unfriendly and left me wounded. Upon my first experience I must say this place left me with a strong opinion. One I will share and one that left me with skin taken off my toes. The environment was very dirty my pedicure bath was not rinsed or sanitized, the curt unfriendly woman was so negligent she exfoliated the skin right off the top of 2 of my toes, after she borrowed her coworkers instrument with out cleaning and used on me :( :( before I could say anything blood was seeping from my toe. She did not apologize instead just poured a stinging liquid right onto the cut and it wasn't disinfectant. Lets just say my they still charged me the full $ 22 for pedicure but I assure you I will NEVER EVER RETURN
The worst manicure I've ever had. this place is horrible. The attitude is so ignorant and rude. I went here for 5 years and I will never go again. I started going to Zumani Nails in Brentwood because their service is 5 star, the clientele is friendly, and it is clean and beautiful. Toe heaven has dramatically gone down hill. they are disrespectful, rude, and do a bad job.
They didn't used to be this BAD! Very disappointing how down hill it has gone.. Its true about what the others said about their santitation. I used to go there for years. After they remodeled the place, their service, safety, and quality when from a 6 out of 10 to a 1 out of 10 for a no frills shop. I got the rudest manicurist that did a terrible job on my nails, left cotton lint in the polish, smudged the nailpolish and pretended it didn't happen (very obvious!) and when I pointed it out, she yanked my hand roughly and rolled her eyes at me and sneered while she spoke to another therapist about me in a different language. While its true I don't know what she said, her physical treatment of me said it all. No wonder they say, "you pay first." I went to speak to the manager because my nails were smudged, peeling and not drying. She asked me who did my nails but they don't wear name tags so she dragged me around to look at each therapist! The nasty woman redid my nails and it still looked like an 8 year old had done them. It was a horrible experience. I took off the nailpolish when I got home and did it myself only to notice she hadn't even done my cuticles! I gave them one more chance 2 months later because I had been a loyal customer for 4 years. I got a fungus. Its over. I will never go back again. :-(
FUNGUS!. This business is not currently following the rules and regulations in regards to sterilizing the tools they use to give pedicures and manicures. As a result, this establishmnet gave me a toe fungus that is proving to be very difficult to get rid of. My intention is to bring awareness to this situation to prevent other women from contracting a fungus themselves. It is outrageous that this establishment is more concerned about making money and their turnover rate than they are with keeping their customers safe!
Cheap and YOU get what you pay for!. Absolutely the WORST manicure and pedicure I have ever had. Are manicures supposed to be PAINFUL? The manicurist did not listen to my requests and she filed my nails so rough they actually HURT! Both the manicurist and pedicurist tried to push other services on me and it was far from relaxing! I would never return even though I live within walking distance.
So Good I Almost Hate to Tell The Truth Cause Then It'll Be Crowded. This place is the best kept secret on Main St. For $20, you get a Spa manicure & pedicure in a peaceful, relaxed environment who have technicians that understand the words "attention to detail." They do my nails to perfection! They always provide a flawless manicure & pedicure, and I walk out feeling wonderful. It's been recently remodeled and tastefully done. I especially like the clouds on the ceiling. I also love that they play nice music making it a wonderful atmosphere to relax. These people know what manicures and pedicures are all about!
Terrible!. I went here after spending the day at the beach. My friend and I both got manicures and pedicures. The pedicure was okay- the usual spa chair basic. But the manicure was aweful! The manicurist rushed through it, applying very thick layers, and often dripping polish on herself. By the time I got home I had bubbles in the polish. The next day it had cracks in it. My friend didn't fare much better- her polish was uneven and chipped quickly. But, I guess this is what you get for only spending $20 for both the mani and pedi! I won't be returning.
