Journey To The Red Oasis. The Red pours out of this place like lava from a volcano. As hot as the girls coming in and out of the Mountain. This place has a friendly staff who always seem to find time to make me and my friends feel at home in Chinatown. An oasis in the midst of the concrete jungle. The affordable prices combined with the quality of the liquor they have in their Well Drinks alone is unlike other bars I've been to in L.A. Friendly locals, friendly staff, friendly patrons, cool surroundings, inexpensive drinks, free parking (some nights in certain lots nearby), good music (usually changes with the crowd), an ever changing and blending of scenes seems to work in a mellow social atmosphere at The Mountain. This place is Red Hot from the decor to the night life and it's Cool.

word of mouth spreading soon. MOUNTAIN is a refreshing change from the pretentious hollywood bars and clubs... it's a hidden gem that is off the beaten path but worth the journey. the place is beautiful, the athmosphere is really chill, (although it can get extremly packed in there from time to time) and the service is great. The bartenders are phenominal and have personality to go with it... the wishing well outside is definately interesting attraction after a couple of drinks...

Hidden Gem.... After submitting this, it won't be much of a hidden gem anymore. Came here with 2 of my friends b/c we didn't want to deal with hollywood's drink prices and snobs. The Mountain is beautifully adorned w/ an asianesque look as you would guess and has a decent amount of space for patrons. They don't have a dj and rely on the randomly selected tracks of their cd player. Service is great, and best of all... drinks are $4 and up. Came on a friday night... mostly dudes. This is a great place to start off the night or end the night.

great place to hang out!. a cool trendy place to hang out. i really like the decor of the place, and the bartenders are really friendly. they definitely dont skimp on the alcohol.
