Quiet place

A nice environment, quiet and personalized service, the lady who prepares the coffee drinks has always a smile, regular costumers know each other, Everybody is nice and friendly. No mention the excellent espressos and cappuccinos.

"Pasadena's First Coffeehouse"

Bud, the super-friendly owner, knows his coffee. Wandering the playhouse district, we arrived a half-hour before closing on Saturday in search of a place to grade essays. Any one of the three tables inside would have worked perfectly, if we had more time. Although we didn't end up grading essays, we fell into a conversation with Bud and his son when they insisted that we take a cup of their house blend to go (on the house), and didn't end up leaving for another 20 minutes. The shop is orderly, clean but not sterile feeling, and warm. Now that we know the hours, we'll be back soon. Currently they are not open on Sundays but Bud is scheming to open for a special Sunday tea time in the near future.
