LOYAL CLIENT GONE SOUR... Worst service ever!! I received a gift (shirt) from my best friend for my 40TH Birthday. I love the shirt! It was the wrong size and I just wanted to exchange it for a smaller one. They told me I could NOT exchange it! I just received it 5 days ago and I've never use it I told them. I asked to speak to the Store Manager? I spoke to a snotty guy by the name of RAF and he told me to try the N.Y. store since it was purchased there. Then a lady by the name of (MICHELLE) I believe, chimed in and said if I have a problem with the store policy to contact Corporate office.WHAT?? I DO NOT expect this type of service at any location? Maybe they think they are better then everyone else because of the area. but they need to do their jobs and put customers first. I will NEVER shop at this location again!! I ended up exchanging the item at the South Coast Plaza without a hassle.

Cool Clothing. Purchased three suits with the help of Louis and Raf. Beautiful fabrics, awesome style and incredible service by the entire staff. Love the style and fit.

From super 'fan' to 'never again.'. Simply put, the worst customer experience in recent memory. Trying to return something there was almost impossible.

My girlfriend bought me a pair of shoes about a week before giving them to me for my birthday. Didn't fit, so I planned on going back to the store for a refund or exchange the following weekend. when I arrive I learn that the autocratic management's return policy is: no refund after 10 days. So within hours of receiving them as a gift the return option expired! Ok, I think to myself, I like the clothes, I'll go and get store credit, right? After trying on everything I was interested in and finding nothing, I ask for store credit so I can come back later (fall season maybe?) and I'm denied. I must use the store credit THAT DAY I'm told. My only 2 options were to walk out then with shoes that didn't fit, or buy clothes I didn't want... I finally force myself to try on a pair of shoes - nothing I really love. When I point out that the pair I'm trying on is used, and I mean REALLY used, with blister in the leather from a water stain, and scuffs everywhere including deep wear in the sole that come only from walking on concrete sidewalks, I'm told that is 'normal, from people trying them on in the store'...obviously not true. The rigidity of their policies is a real weakness and has just turned a loyal customer off forever. Not recommended.

Great experience - Will go back again when in LA. As one of my favorite designers, I always like to check out what the store has when I am in a city that has one. Since I was visiting LA a few months ago and had some time to run errands with a family member one of the free days...we stopped by the store, maybe a couple of hours before closing time. At the time, we were the only car in the parking lot (a few people came in later). A nice fellow greeted us at the door and we were walking around for just a bit before another fellow came up to us to ask if we needed help, which at the time I didn't - I was just looking.

As I walked around I decided that I did want to buy even though I was leaving the next day and knowing that everything would have to be tailored since I am not the size to wear something off the racks. I nodded to him and right away he was at our side helping to check on sizes and very helpful in affirming what did and didn't look appropriate. It surely wasn't about just making a sale.

I can see how the other reviewer could have felt different. There were other salesmen in the store, doing what seemed to be busy work folding, fixing, etc. Not one of them gave even an acknowledgement except for the one at the door. But nor did we say anything to them. Maybe part of it is that each member of the sales staff finds and works with the person who they can help best? Maybe they take turns?

I live far away, so the tailoring service and then preparing them for shipment is what should be expected from this level of store. I am impressed with the attitude considering that I am a non-LA nobody. Today when I called, the fellow who answered was pleasant. I am sure that he was one of the original, non-speaking salesmen from that first day.

At the NY store the salesman was my size and over the years is so trusted that whenever something comes through that would be appropriate for me, he tells me so I can review before all of that size is gone. The same will hopefully be for the LA store.

Non-existent service. I've walked into the signature shop in West Hollywood twice, and received not even an acknowledgement from the sales staff. I refuse to spend money in a place where the SALESpeople think themselves above the customer. Clothes are nice, but that's it - Banana Republic look and quality
