JUST OK. The food is just ok. Salads look like (and taste like) they have been there a few days. The potato flat bread was good. Portions were good sized but not that tasty. Regular bread that came with the salad tasted a little stale. Server in line had an attitude.

Great Lunch Fare!. Lemon Moon has an excellent selection of prepared food and cook to order. I enjoyed my selection of 3 prepared dishes including curry chicken, skirt steak salad, and tomato and artichoke salad, all were flavorful. My friend ordered the teriyaki turkey burger and it was outstanding. The pricing is on the high side, but the quality of the food is worth it. I enjoyed the design of the restaurant and outdoor patio. A great place for lunch meetings.

Popular Santa Monica chefs go all-American with a cafeteria-style breakfast and lunch nook.. The Scene
The cafeteria-style setup and easygoing, efficient servers contribute to the laid-back vibe of this breakfast and lunch spot. A bustling business crowd grabs to-go items or hangs out at natural-wood tables; solo diners lounge at the long bar. Potted bamboo and bright yellow umbrellas decorate an outdoor patio.

The Food
Melisse's Josiah Citrin (Lemon) and JiRaffe's Rafael Lunetta (Moon) may have scaled down the extravagance of their higher-end restaurants, but the food still delivers in flavors and complexity. The grilled chicken panini sandwich with pesto is gooey with melted cheese and exudes just a hint of spice from roasted peppers. A hearty skirt-steak salad with Thai basil, grilled scallions and shiitake mushrooms is delicious, but avoid the fruit and vegetable gazpacho, which is on the bitter side. Desserts include praline-like pecan sticky buns and a sugared sandwich cookie with creamy-sweet dulce de leche filling.
