With its kid-friendly vibe, booth seating and late-night hours (most stores are open 24 hours), Denny's draws night owls, seniors and families with kids. The menu sticks to classic American staples: wings, chicken strips, burgers, salads and the like. But breakfast is king, with specialties ranging from skillets, egg scrambles, French toast platters and several variations on the famous Grand Slam: two buttermilk pancakes, two eggs, two bacon strips and two sausage links.

Not bad for take out. Now really, who goes to Denny's for "good" food? The menu has been the same since the beginning of time and it's dependably mediocre. I ordered from the Azusa Denny's tonight for take-out and although they almost forgot one item, they were very nice, helpful and apologetic. The food, well it's Denny's.

Never have anything I order. I don't know why I go back. I guess it's that I think that it has to get better but each time I go back my experience at Denny's on Azusa gets worse. Bad food, bad service, long wait, little bit of food for a higher price (adding the small piece of bread doesn't make it right to make the price that high) and they never have anything I want. Don't go, go to IHOP or anything else.
