GOOD FOOD GOOD PRICE NO PRESSURE FOR RESERVATIONS. they have a good selection of food, and recently the place became under new owners so they have 3 new meats that i notice and also notice their service has gone up way up if you have a problem go to their main website and contact the owner and they will listen trust me this place is very family oriented unlike other ones that are 3 times more expensive and you dont get half of the meat also their parking is free and the place is just a good restaurant like if you go to a nice family restaurant great buffet area alot of items for the price if you want to try a difrent meat you can request that to their main gaucho he will bring it out for you....
Don't bother. Brazilian style barbecue restaurants where you attempt to eat more than you can imagine have become very popular. But that's because the food is usually very good. I was so hungry when I got to this restaurant that as long as it wasn't still breathing i would have loved the food. What I got was dry questionable pieces of meat. The meat was not tender or juicy. It seemed that the only way for the cook to mask the unacceptable condition of the meat was to smother it in salt. To add to the bad experience, the service was not even close to being so-so; it was just bad. There's just too much going on for the wait staff to cater to your needs. Bottom line, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
Meat, meat, meat. I don't think I'd ever see so much meat in my life. You flip this little thing they give you to red if you want the meat to continue to come. It was really hard for me to keep up and I consider myself as a person with a big appetite. I probably just had two types of meat and the sides are served in a salad bar style place. Those offerings were just ok. They also offer dessert, which is also not that great. If you're looking just to eat meat for your meal, definitely come here.
Food is not good!. All the meats were a little dry and salty. The salad bar food was below average, the service was suspect. I would not go back nor would i ever tell anyone i know to go there.
GREENfor the flank- RED for the dessert. Once again, not the best but it's Covina people. At dinner, you'll flip to red often just to keep up. For lunch, you'll flip to red in hopes something new will come out. Out of all the meats, the flank is buttah in the mouth. Yum. After awhile though, all the seasoning just blends together, so you will need to rely on texture. Although, the seasoning is certainly not a bad thing. The salad bar is terrific, but really, are you going to eat like a rabbit or to eat rabbit? The dessert is pretty blah, so skip it and just keep to the meat.
If you go on the weekends. The food was good....Though I have had better brazillian bbq. Beware though, the prices on the weekends are different. I went on a Sat, it's $23 per person: which is not worth it. Between two people n' tip, it was over 60~ (*that's a lot of sushi's worth - I think I would'a prefered sushi).
Meat Lover's Paradise. If you enjoy beef and other cuts of meat, this is a must try. I've tried 2 other churrascaria's in the LA area and this is still a good choice. Not only do they parade a seemingly endless array of meat by your table, but their salad bar and side dish bar are both excellent. They pay attention to all aspects of your meal, not just the meat. Save room for dessert...it costs extra, but sometimes can be extremely worthwhile. The staff is always friendly and accomodating. One suggestions -- if you enjoy good table conversation do not sit near the waterfall in the front window. It's LOUD.
Great taste. I went during lunch, so I wasn't able to taste all the restaurant had to offer since the lunch servings aren't as varied as dinner.
Meat Fest. Hungry for meat? This is the place to be. All you can eat meat brought to your table. That's right, you don't even have to get up; how wonderful is that?! After you finish your meal, you wll realize purchasing those meat raw is more expensive than eating at Green Field. Ask for their wine, you will be surprised with how good it is. Bring your veggie loving friends too. Their salad bar is over the top. (I do recommend for them to have more fruits.)
